The existence of mangandung tradition in wedding ceremony of Angkola society was oral tradition review that existed in Angkola ethnic. This tradition was existed in wedding ceremony before pasahat boru procession. Systematically, mangandung was occurred after mangupa and before pasahat boru in the tradition procession.The mangandung procession was acted by mothers through touching sobs because bride would go away from her family to have new family from her husband. This review conducted by using culture concept that related to oral tradition. Anthropology approach based on culture was used to review old tradition that existed in the local society. It indicated that the researcher wanted to look the process of inheriting about mangandung tradition as well as mythology symbols and mindset of Angkola society.Archetype approach by Jung was appropriate approach to review issue about the inheriting of old culture that have correlation between psychology and anthropology of literatures. Qualitative method based on naturalistic was research method that used to review the existed phenomena. Based on the findings, there was existence of mangandung tradition in wedding ceremony in Angkola society but it got culture diffusion, namely the old tradition of mangandung consisted with touching advices changed to new tradition of mangandung that filled with touching musical and melody.
The purpose of this training is to understand and know about what and how an Educational Research Journal is and understand the preparation of an Educational Research Journal for elementary school teachers in Kotagajah Subdistrict, Central Lampung. This training uses the lecture method, question and answer method and the method of giving examples. Sources of research data are teachers in elementary schools throughout Kotagajah district, Central Lampung, totaling 20 people. The result of this training was that it was able to produce 5 drafts of writing an Educational Research Journal which was followed up with presentation activities in order to get input from various parties and the teachers felt they had gained the knowledge, skills and or experience they really needed.
Distance Learning (Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh/PJJ) is a transition to face-to-face teaching and learning activities in a school setting, in which due to the COVID-19 pandemic education is experiencing challenges, especially in formal education and school activities must be conducted offline and online. Currently, distance learning is determining key to continuing education. Regardless of the circumstance and condition of each student, they must be provided with an optimal education. Hence, nowadays, it is important to instill and maintain character in students that in any circumstances, education is an absolute term. The purpose of this study was to investigate the implementation of character education in distance learning amid the COVID-19 pandemic in elementary school. This research used a qualitative descriptive. The results of character education research can develop life skills or student skills in the learning process, in this case how students can be responsible for each assignment, as well as discipline in participating in distance learning.
The problem in this study is the low learning outcomes of class fifth students towards Mathematics. This study aims to determine the relationship between interest in learning and learning discipline with the Mathematics learning outcomes of class Vth Elementary School of Cluster Cut Nyak Dien, East Metro District. This type of research is ex-postfacto correlation. The study population numbered 221 students and the research sample was 69 students.. The data collection techniques used were observation, interview, questionnaire, and documentation study. The data collection instrument was a questionnaire with a Likert scale that had been tested for validity and reliability. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between interest in learning and learning discipline with the Mathematics learning outcomes of class V students, shown by a correlation coefficient of 0,7346 with strong criteria.
The profession as a teacher is required to have the ability to write scientific papers. This is stated in the Regulation of the Minister for Empowerment of State Apparatus and Bureaucratic Reform No. 16 of 2009 concerning Teacher's Functional Positions and Credit Scores. In addition, writing scientific papers can be a medium for sharing knowledge related to educational innovation. Therefore, the purpose of this activity is to increase the interest, knowledge, and skills of teachers in writing scientific papers. This community service activity was carried out with a target of 20 elementary school teachers in Metro City. This training activity has 2 stages, the presentation of material about writing scientific papers and the practice of writing scientific papers. Based on the data from the implementation, the training went well. However, there are obstacles to its implementation, namely: at the pretest and post-test stages in the form of an internet connection. In addition, this training was quite effective in increasing participants' knowledge of scientific writing with an n-gain of 0.303. The results of this activity become a reference for policymakers to organize teacher improvement programs in scientific writing and publications.
