Innovation chicken nuggets with fortification Moringa leaves can be expected as a source of protein as well as of other nutritional components needed by the body. Sensory testing nugget products have been set by the National Standardization Agency (BSN) is SNI No. 2346: 2011. The purpose of this study was to determine sensory and preference of chicken nuggets with fresh Moringa leaves and moringa leaf powder 2% fortification. The results showed that the sensory testing of the appearance, smell, taste and texture nuggets still appropriate ISO standard that is above 7. While testing of the texture, taste, color and odor generating value from moderate like to like.
Okra fruit (Abelmoschus esculentus (L.) Moench) is a vegetable that contains polyphenol, carotenoid, flavonoid, and vitamin. The contains of okra fruit can be antioxidants. One of the Antioxidants contens is affected by the harvesting age. Late harvesting si affected for fruit texture, so it will determine that okra fruit be able consumed as a vegetable. This research intends to knowing the effect of different harvest age on antioxidant activity and knowing the best harvest age on the harvest of okra fruit for a vegetable consumption. This research used non-practical complete randomized design (CRD) with 8 treatments, specifically P1 (harvesting three days after flowering), P2 (harvesting four days after flowering), P3 (harvesting five days after flowering), P4 (harvesting six days after flowering), P5 (harvesting seven days after flowering), P6 (harvesting eight days after flowering), P8 (harvesting ten days after flowering). Harvesting six days after flowering for red okra is the best treatment for vegetable consumption by total antioxidant activity value 87.

Green betel (Piper bettle L.) is a medical plant that contains essential oil and is widely used as one of the key ingredients of traditional herbal called jamu. One of the particular micronutrients that play an important role in an enzyme activator is Zinc mineral (Zn). This research was aimed to discover the most effective doses of ZnSO4 fertilizer on growth parameters and essential oil production of green betel cultivated on red mediterranean soils in Bangkalan Madura, at ± 5 altitudes. This experiment was arranged as a single factor experiment in a completely randomized design with four replications. There were six levels of treatment namely Z0 (without ZnSO4), Z1(0,2 g/plant), Z2 (0.4 g/plant), Z3 (0.6/plant), Z4 (0.8 g/plant), Z5 (1 g/plant). Data collected from this experiment were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA), followed by Duncan multiple ranged test (DMRT) ?? 5%. The results showed that the application of ZnSO4 fertilizer significantly affects vine height, number of leaves, number of branches, number of nodes, plant total dry weight, and essential oil content. Doses 0.6 g/plant of ZnSO4 was the best treatment compared to other doses applied in this research which increased the essential production of green betel up to 36.6% (1.405% w/w) compared to the control (without ZnSO4 application).
Sayur pak choy (Brassica chinensis L.) dibudidayakan pertama kali di negara China dan lebih tepatnya sebelum abad ke-5. Kondisi lingkungan mikro yang ideal untuk budidaya tanaman pak choy adalah suhu di range 15°C - 32°C, kelembapan bernilai 60% - 80% dan kebutuhan cahaya matahari selama 8 jam/hari. Plant factory adalah teknologi budidaya tanaman dengan kondisi lingkungan mikro terkontrol sesuai dengan kebutuhan optimal pertumbuhan tanaman. Penelitian terkait plant factory di dunia mayoritas berasal dari negara-negara maju dunia. Dengan alasan di atas dan ditambah besarnya potensi pasar sayuran di Indonesia khususnya, peneliti bertujuan untuk melakukan penelitian terkait plant factory untuk budidaya tanaman sayur pak choy (Brassica chinensis L.). Parameter yang dianalisa antara lain: tinggi tanaman, lebar daun, jumlah daun, bobot segar tajuk, bobot segar akar, bobot total, bobot kering total, luas daun dan indeks luas daun, klorofil daun, penyekapan cahaya dan ketebalan daun serta indeks sampah. Data hasil pertumbuhan vegatatif dan panen pak choy adalah berbasis logika fuzzy adalah sebagai berikut: tinggi tanaman 20,25 cm; lebar daun tanaman 6,95 cm; jumlah daun tanaman 12,25 buah; bobot segar tajuk 93,62 g; bobot segar akar 11,4 g; bobot total 105,02 gr; bobot kering total 18,57 gr; luas daun 25,41; indeks luas daun 0,039; klorofil daun 59,94; penyekapan cahaya 43,2; ketebalan daun 0,47; dan indeks sampah 0,89.
