We have investigated Bianchi type IX string cosmological models in general relativity. To get a determinate solution, we have assumed a condition i.e. rest energy density for a cloud of strings is equal to the string tension density. The various physical and geometrical aspects of the models are also discussed.
Some Bianchi type III cosmological models with magnetic field for massive string are investigated. F 12 is only the non-vanishing component of electromagnetic field tensor F i j . To get a determinate solution. we have assumed that the expansion (θ) in the model is proportional to the shear (σ). This leads to C = A n where A and C are functions of time alone. A particular solution for n = 1 is discussed. The physical implications of the models, are also discussed.
Thermal diffusion factor of neon at 300.5 °K has been determined to be 0.0205 ± 0.002, by means of separation studies, with and without the introduction of spacers, in a hot-wire thermal diffusion column of 1.42 m length. The theory propounded earlier by the authors for evaluation of parasitic remixing is used. Within the experimental error the above value agrees fairly well with the calculated value on the basis of exp −6 potential model.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
