El auge de las redes sociales y la comunicación de las marcas en medios digitales ha provocado una actualización de la identidad visual corporativa de las grandes marcas, incluyendo las de sectores tradicionales, en los que la cultura corporativa, en términos generales, se encuentra muy arraigada y es más reticente a los cambios. Los logos en dos dimensiones que simulan un volumen y una profundidad propia de las tres dimensiones, se han simplificado y se han vuelto planos para una mejor inclusión en los diferentes soportes digitales, de modo que mejore su legibilidad y reflejen mejor los valores actuales del propósito de marca. El objetivo de esta investigación es determinar el procesamiento cognitivo de los jóvenes universitarios de los logos tradicionales de las marcas con respecto a los actuales, sencillos y planos, en dos dimensiones. Las técnicas de neuromarketing utilizadas son el eye-tracking para medir la atención y la respuesta galvánica de la piel (GSR) para medir la emoción mostrada por los públicos. La principal conclusión es que los jóvenes muestran más atención y emoción hacia los logos planos y de líneas sencillas, más integrados en los soportes digitales.
En esta investigación empírica se estudia el consumo informativo, en medios digitales españoles, desde el inicio del brote SARS-CoV-2 en el mundo prestando especial importancia al periodo de expansión en España. Se analizan las piezas informativas publicadas en los medios digitales sobre esta crisis sanitaria, bajo dos términos, Coronavirus y COVID-19, para comprobar la capacidad de engagement en el lector. Se aplica la técnica de análisis de contenido de tipo cuantitativo obteniendo datos muy significativos. Los resultados desvelan una correlación entre un elevado número de piezas informativas y un mayor alcance/engagement con los usuarios; que las redes sociales Facebook y Twitter, por este orden de importancia, se convierten en el complemento perfecto de los medios digitales para circular los hechos noticiosos y, de esta forma, impactar en un mayor número de población; y que ,en el contexto de esta pandemia mundial, las noticias con titulares positivos tienen mayor alcance y engagement en la sociedad.
Introducción: Los jóvenes son el segmento poblacional que más tiempo dedica al ocio online, y las marcas, conocedoras de este dato, utilizan los videojuegos como Roblox para impactar en ellos. Objetivos: realizar una aproximación al concepto de metaverso y su relación con el advergaming, a través de la comparación entre dos conjuntos poblacionales: estudiantes universitarios españoles y mexicanos de entre 18 y 28 años de edad. Metodología: mixta cuantitativa-cualitativa basada en el análisis de contenido -estudio de 4 marcas en Roblox- y una encuesta exploratoria (n=300). Resultados: los encuestados no saben qué es el advergaming y afirman no recordar la publicidad, pero mencionan espontáneamente marcas dentro del videojuego, las cuales pertenecen a la industria de la moda, tecnología y alimentos; no obstante, no los catalogan como “anuncios”. Conclusiones: los resultados arrojan que no hay diferencias significativas entre sexo, ni por país de origen. Los videojuegos son la forma de metaverso más extendida y adoptada actualmente. Facebook es la empresa más citada como ejemplo de compañía relacionada con el metaverso y el 30% de la muestra piensa que el metaverso ha sido creado por Facebook. Existe un desconocimiento general sobre términos relacionados con la publicidad en los videojuegos. Sin embargo, los jóvenes aceptan este tipo de inserciones mientras juegan e incluso las califican como innovadoras.
El Plan Bolonia introdujo como novedad la obligatoriedad de elaborar un Trabajo Fin de Grado, en adelante, TFG. El desarrollo normativo que regula el Espacio Europeo de Educación Superior (EEES) en España es escueto y deja a las universidades la responsabilidad de la organización de las modalidades y criterios académicos de esta materia. En el presente trabajo se ha llevado a cabo un estudio exploratorio en el que se analizan las normativas de las diferentes universidades que albergan grados de Ciencias de la Comunicación (Periodismo, Comunicación Audiovisual y Publicidad y Relaciones Públicas). Se ha podido contrastar que la autonomía universitaria para regular el TFG ha provocado una heterogeneidad de criterios en algunas de las variables analizadas: naturaleza del trabajo, modalidades, peso crediticio en el plan de estudios. Del mismo modo, se ha comprobado que son escasas las normativas de las universidades que prestan especial atención y protección a este tipo de trabajos en lo que a temas de propiedad intelectual y derechos de autor se refiere.
Presentamos un trabajo de investigación empírico donde analizamos el uso de la ilustración en un medio concreto (The New Yorker) para contrastar el poder de transmisión del mensaje en un contexto muy concreto como es el de la pandemia mundial debido a la propagación de la covid-19. Metodología: Se ha llevado a acabo una triangulación metodológica combinando diversas técnicas y herramientas como la investigación documental, análisis descriptivo, focus group y análisis de contenido . Resultados: El análisis de 347 portadas revela que el elemento que varía de una publicación a otra es la ilustración.
