O objetivo deste estudo foi analisar o estilo de vida (EV) de universitários usuários de substâncias nocivas e associá-la com a atividade física do cotidiano. Para isso, foram investigados 1405 universitários de um campus universitário de Paranavaí-PR, no qual 330 (23,4%) foram identificados como usuários de tabaco e/ou drogas (TD) e 401 (28,5%) de álcool (AL). Além disso, cerca de 85% dos universitários não tinham hábitos considerados saudáveis de atividades físicas (AF). O EV foi mensurado por meio do questionário “Estilo de Vida Fantástico”. Sendo assim, observou-se que o EV dos universitários usuários de substâncias nocivas, em média, foi considerado inadequado (TD=58,7±10,9; AL=59,6±11,0, adequado quando EV≥70pts) independentemente do sexo. Quando a AF era adequada (em 14,4% dos casos), 9,6% eram usuários de TD e 20% de AL, já, quando AF era inadequada os níveis de usuários praticamente não se alteravam percentualmente (TD=10,5% e AL=20,4%). Desta forma, conclui-se que o EV de universitários não era adequado para saúde, além disso, não se observou interferência da prática regular e adequada de atividades física em relação ao uso de substâncias nocivas.
O estilo de vida (EV) representa o modo de vida na qual as pessoas vivem. Quando positivo e saudável pode agir de forma preventiva contra riscos de acidentes e doenças, do contrário eleva a susceptibilidade. Atividade física, nutrição e estresse representam três componentes do EV, sendo que quando adequados contribuem para a saúde geral do indivíduo, porém, durante a vida universitária nem sempre o EV parece adequado. Assim o objetivo do trabalho é investigar o estilo de vida de universitários e mais especificamente os comportamentos de atividade física, hábitos alimentares e estresse. Todos (n=1393) responderam o questionário Estilo de vida Fantástico (EVF), composto por 25 questões em escala likert. O questionário é subdividido em 9 dimensões de análise sendo: Família e amigos (F); Atividade Física (AF); Nutrição (N); Tabaco e drogas (TD); Álcool (Al); Segurança, estresse e atividade sexual (S); Tipo de comportamento (TC); Introspecção (I); Carreira (C). Cada resposta atribui um valor de 0 a 4 pontos totalizando escore máximo de 100. As dimensões AF, N e S foram consideradas separadamente e associadas para análise de resultados. Considerou-se adequado quando as respostas compreendiam valores 3 e 4. O EV dos universitários representou em média 65,6±10,6pts na qual 38% obtiveram EV considerado adequado e seguro para saúde. Observou-se que 14,7%, 15,3% e 87,1% apresentaram níveis adequados de EV para as dimensões AF, N e S respectivamente. O sexo masculino apresentou percentual de casos adequados maior que o feminino para AF (M=20,5%; F=11,5%) e S (M=89,4%; F=85,9%), já na dimensão N o feminino foi mais adequado (F=16,1%; M=13,4%). Quando observada condições em que as dimensões de EV eram associadas (AF+N; AF+S; N+S; e AF+N+S) verificou-se que em 3,5%, 6,2%, 5,6% e 1,6% respectivamente apresentavam EV adequado e seguro à saúde. Estudantes universitários predominantemente não apresentam EV adequado à saúde e para prevenir riscos. Especificamente também não apresentaram condições de AF, N e S adequados, sendo que um número muito pequeno de estudantes universitários demonstrou ter hábitos de atividade física, nutrição e estresse adequados
Analisar o estilo de vida (EV) de universitários do curso de Educação Física (EF) dando ênfase aos aspectos entre sexo e entre nível de formação acadêmica. Participaram do estudo 114 estudantes de EF, da Universidade Estadual do Paraná, subdivididos em 54 do sexo masculino e 60 feminino, em 4 séries de formação acadêmica. Todos responderam ao questionário Estilo de Vida Fantástico (EVF) que compreende nove dimensões do estilo de vida individual. Observou-se que em média o EV dos universitários foi de 70 (±9,3) pts., não havendo diferença entre sexos, contudo, 56,1% apresentaram EV dentro de um nível considerado adequado e saudável (≥70pts), e, o sexo masculino apresentou percentual maior (59,2%) de estudantes com EV mais saudável em relação ao feminino (53,3%). Identificou-se também que houve diferença estatística (P<0,05) entre o EV de estudantes ingressantes (1ª=72,8±9,3pts) em relação aos concluintes (4ª=66,2±7,8pts). Conclui-se que o EV dos universitários tem evoluído de forma negativa ao longo do curso de formação, sendo que de forma geral o sexo feminino apresenta condições relativas em condição pior que a do masculino.
A vida de estudante universitário abrange diferentes aspectos da rotina individual. Isso depende também das condições sociais ao qual o universitário se enquadra, dentre elas se a vida de estudantes está relacionada a atividades laborais formais, não formais ou algum outro tipo de renda. Analisar o estilo de vida (EV) de universitários que mantém condição de atividades laborais durante o curso de graduação. A pesquisa descritiva exploratória teve participação de 1381 universitários, sendo que 1064 (77,0%) alegaram ter algum tipo de renda. Todos responderam ao questionário padronizado Estilo de Vida Fantástico (AÑEZ; REIS; PETROSKI, 2008) que é composto por 25 questões em escala likert com respostas possíveis de 0 a 4 pontos totalizando 100pontos. Quanto maior o escore mais saudável e seguro é o EV. Não houve diferenças (P>0,05) entre as médias do EV entre universitários com renda e sem renda. No caso masculino, os universitários sem renda apresentaram em média EV maior do que os com renda. Houve diferença entre EV dos universitários de turnos diferentes independentes se apresentam ou não renda, sendo que quando estudantes do período integral, o EV sempre foi caracterizado como melhor em relação ao EV de estudantes do período noturno. Os bolsistas obtiveram EV mais seguro. O EV dos universitários é predominantemente inadequado, sendo que isso é independente de se ter ou não alguma renda, contudo, no caso masculino, quando se tinha alguma renda o EV era inadequado. Além disso, universitários participantes de projetos com bolsa e EV mais saudáveis eram predominantes.
