This article discusses how technological innovation develops to support conventional merchants by implementing RFID for a fast and easy payment solution. This payment uses a contactless smart card as a medium for electronic money or e-Money. This e-Money card can be obtained through a cashier available at merchants and e-Money balance can also be topped up by registering the card first. This cashless machine uses Arduino UNO as a microprocessor, MFRC522, Micro SD Module and 16x02 LCD Display. This cashless machine does not require internet to access the database and can also be used immediately without problems. This cashless machine can work within a range of 3cm for e-Money card detection with the fastest response time of 0.1s and takes a long time to process a balance of 1.4s. This machine is equipped with a menu variant selection at merchants using a serial monitor display integrated on the Arduino UNO.
This research has purpose to know the difference between student learning result with computer network practice course and higher order thinking skill (HOTS) given by demonstration method with problem based learning (PBL) method. This research is a research using quasi experiment consisting of two classes as sample. The one class uses the demonstration learning method, while the other class uses the PBL method. This study has an analysis using t-test. the result of this research is able to show there is difference between student learning outcomes with high thinking ability in computer network practice class among students given demonstration method with students given PBL method. Students who were given demonstration learning methods resulted less than students who had been provided with PBL methods in order to improve learning outcomes.
This study aims to determine the performance of temperature and humidity control technology of the Internet of Things (IoT) automatic oyster mushroom cultivation space. The stages of device development consist of analysis, design, assembly and testing. The design developed combines hardware control, software, and cloud server. This tool consists of 3 main processes, namely input using DHT11 sensors, process and output, namely 220 V AC actuators. There are two tests namely technical and effectiveness. The test results that have been carried out are: (1) the performance test results obtained an average error of 1.44% and a mean humidity of 3.35%, so that it can be used properly in the process of oyster mushroom cultivation; (2) the actuator will turn on if the temperature is more than 28oC or the humidity is less than 70%. The results of the transmission and storage of hardware data to the software on the database function properly, testing the effectiveness which shows the tools developed are more effective 5 hours compared to the manual method, (3) The advantages of this tool are that it can work automatically with IoT technology, there is realtime data recording, and features that are easy to use, so that it can help farmers in the care of oyster mushrooms.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran pada mata kuliah Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja serta meningkatkan rasa percaya diri, kerjasama,dan tanggungjawab. Peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran ini menerapkan metode pembelajaran problem based learning. Ppenelitian ini menerapkan metod lesson study model Lewis (2002) dan pelaksanaanya dilakukan dalam 3 kegiatan, yaitu: 1) Perencanaan (plan); 2) Pelaksanaan dan Observasi (do); 3) Refleksi (see). Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa S1 Prodi Pendidikan Teknik Informatika Jurusan Pendidikan Teknik Elektronika dan data diperoleh dengan cara observasi dan perekaman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan kualitas proses pembelajaran. Ini dapat dilihat dari jumlah mahasiswa yang aktif semakin banyak, perkuliahan tidak membosankan karena sebagian besar mahasiswa kelihatan antusias dalam belajar. Bagi dosen juga ada keuntungannya yaitu dapat melakukan kolaborasi dengan teman sejawat dalam upaya untuk memperbaiki pembelajarannya. Melalui pembelajaran dengan lesson study ini selain dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran sekaligus juga dapat menumbuhkan karakter kerja mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja. Hal ini terlihat dari tanggung jawab dalam pengambilan keputusan, tidak memisahkan di diri dari orang lain, interaksi terhadap sumber belajar, interaksi antar mahasiswa, aktifitas menyelesaikan masalah dan mahasiswa tidak pasif..Kata kunci: lesson study, kualitas pembelajaran, Cooperative Learning
