The research aim is the study of the potential use of adaptative multi-winglets to get reductions in the induced drag through variations of cant angle winglets. Different studies have been showing that the flow in the wing-tip can be redirect using small aerodynamics superficies, thus reducing the induced drag. The model to be tested is composed of a rectangular wing built from a profile NACA 65 3 − 018 constituted of three winglets called tip-sails, which are small wings without sweep at 25% chord. The tests were in a regime at a number Reynolds of 350,000. The results are analyzed by the interpretation of lift, drag and mapping of the wake through anemometry techniques of hot wire.
The aim of this paper is to describe a case study of an intervention conducted with a Brazilian mother using the ACT Raising Safe Kids Program -a universal program to prevent violence against children. This study evaluated behavioral aspects of the mother and her six-year old son with pre-post intervention measures, and follow-up. The mother fi lled the Brazilian instrument Parental Style Inventory (IEP), as well as the ASEBA (CBCL, ASR and ABCL) prior and after the intervention, and at follow-up; in addition to the ACT Program Assessment Questionnaire after the intervention. The husband fi lled the CBCL and the ABCL in all the study's phases. Results pointed to a change in parental style after intervention (from "High Average" to "Excellent"). Agreement between informants about the child´s behavior was found, and disagreement between spouses about mother´s behaviors. The fact that the couple decided to separate during the intervention hinders an accurate interpretation of the discrepant results. Studies involving group application of the ACT Program are needed in Brazil.

-The objective of this work was to evaluate the development and productive traits of palisadegrass single cultivated or intercropped with corn, in addition to corn intercropped with pasture, under water deficit at different development stages of the plants. It was used a complete block experimental design with split plots and three replicates. Periods of water deficit were placed in the plots and types of cultivation were placed in the subplots. Irrigation was stopped at germination and initial tillering of palisadegrass and at V4 and V15 stages of corn and returned when soil moisture was 40% of available water capacity. Tiller density and palisadegrass height were evaluated weekly. Dry matter (DM) of fractions of herbage mass as well as leaf area of the plants were evaluated at corn tasseling and when grains reached physiological maturity. Components of corn production were determined in the second sampling. In palisadegrass, water influenced only tillering, which was reduced in the plots in which water defict was forced at the moment of germination or at the beginning of tilering, in both cultivation systems. Plant height and DM production were affected only by cultivation, reducing when intercropped with corn. Evaluated production components did not influence corn grain productivity, which was similar in all treatments (average of 10,145 kg/ha). Palisadegrass plants produce more DM in single cultivation than intercropped with corn. Water deficit during germination and initial tillering reduces tillering of palisadegrass during establishment phase. Water deficit, applied in this trial, does not reduce DM yield in palisadegrass or corn.
