Methodology: The study was conducted in 105 private hospitals in Indonesia, affected by the reform of the regulation and influenced by digital disruption, which triggered the disruptive change. This study used a quantitative method and processed by Structural Equation Modelling program for quantitative data analysis. Main Findings: The results of this study concluded that the entrepreneurial orientation of the hospital has a significant positive impact on the achievement of organizational performance, either directly or with the mediation of business model innovation and the collaboration between hospital management and the physicians. Applications of this study: This study proved to be a critical determinant for the business model innovation and the growth of hospital performance. The purpose of this study is to measure the impact of institutional environment as government regulation and managers' capabilities to maintain the relationship between the stakeholder networks and the entrepreneurial orientation within the context of the hospital industry in Indonesia. The results of data analysis from 105 small and medium private hospitals in the Jakarta city and surrounding areas show that the hospital entrepreneurial orientation was significantly influenced by government policies reflected by the legal certainty and bureaucratic attitudes that assist the implementation of the policies. Besides, it is proven that management capabilities to establish the relationships with many stakeholders, consisting of all existing partners and employees, also affect the growth of entrepreneurial orientation. Finally, the performance of the hospital is proven to be significantly influenced by the entrepreneurial orientation directly and also mediated by business model innovation. The results of this study become paradoxical because it is different from the opinion that the healthcare industry would not have accepted the concept of entrepreneurship.
A green building with proper maintenance will have higher energy efficiency and longer lifetime, as damages to building utilities can be minimised. One of the vital utilities are electrical components. Damages to electrical components may have fatal consequences such as short circuit or fire. This research aims to improve the maintenance of electrical components of green building. A case study is taken from a government green building for electrical components, in order to meet the building reliability requirements which consist of safety, health, comfort, and convenience. Maintenance system which is Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) level 4 of building maintenance integrated with information systems and Building Information Modeling (BIM) are influential factors for building maintenance performance. The research methods used are archival analysis, case study, survey, expert judgement, and statical analysis. This research generates product of web based information system integrated with BIM, and also mathematical model that enhance the maintenance performance of government green building for electrical components would become more effective and efficient especially for safety performance.
External environment faced by the firms today shows the uncertainty due to the disruptive change that occurs in all aspects. Impacts of the phenomenon of disruptive innovation, which upset the balance of the market, require all companies to renew themselves in order to maintain their positions in the competition. To that end, many researchers mentioned the importance of strategic management with entrepreneurial approach in the process of formulation and implementation of corporate strategy in the era of the 21st century. This paper intended to represent the role of entrepreneurial orientation in creating superior and sustainable organizational performance, through business model innovation and collaborative strategic relationship, as inimitable intangible. This study uses hospital industry in Indonesia as the research context which currently faces disruptive change at the time of policy reformation regarding hospital payment system, and denoted the urgent need for entrepreneurial strategies to mitigate them. This conceptual paper is a preliminary steps prior to the empirical research, which expected to contribute to academics, researchers, and all of hospital stakeholders in deepening the understanding on hospital strategy -that should simultaneously consider business ethics, and also ensure the preservation of the relationship in the stakeholder networks with conflicting interests.
A water quality assessment in the Saluran Tarum Barat was conducted at three stations, representing the beginning, middle, and end of the canal between February and May 2017. This research aimed to determine the quality of Saluran Tarum Barat water using benthic macroinvertebrates as a bioindicator through the Biological Monitoring Working Party-Average Score Per Taxon (BMWP - ASPT) method. Environmental parameters were also measured. The sampling found six families of macroinvertebrates: Naucoridae; Viviparidae; Parathelphusidae; Pisauridae; Palaemonidae; and Thiaridae. However, Parathelphusidae and Pisauridae families are not covered in the BMWP scoring list. Saluran Tarum Barat has an ASPT range from 4.25–4.5, which indicates that the water is moderately polluted.
