O desenvolvimento de materiais didáticos para o Ensino de Computação, em paralelo com a formação continuada de professores, é uma urgência na Educação Básica brasileira, para fomentar o trabalho com habilidades do Pensamento Computacional nas escolas. Diante dessa necessidade, esta pesquisa teve por objetivos: i) desenvolver materiais didáticos de Computação Desplugada para o ensino de Computação na Educação Básica (4º e 5º ano do Ensino Fundamental), ii) formar professores para a compreensão de conceitos básicos da Computação e utilização do material desenvolvido em escolas da Educação Básica (rede pública de ensino); e iii) avaliar o material desenvolvido com os professores do Ensino Fundamental. A pesquisa envolveu o desenvolvimento, a avaliação do material didático e promoveu a formação continuada de professores. Os dados coletados com os professores foram categorizados e codificados para identificar a aceitação do material didático de Computação Desplugada. Os resultados mais expressivos evidenciam o material didático como “Adequado” e “Bem aceito” pelos professores, sendo que, dos sete fascículos criados os mais utilizados foram “Algoritmos” e “Reconhecimento de Padrões”. Ao final dos encontros de formação continuada, identificou-se ainda que 46% dos professores demonstraram ter assimilado satisfatoriamente os conceitos trabalhados. Este trabalho relata a experiência da necessidade encontrada pelo projeto UNISC Inclusão Digital para adequar materiais didáticos de Computação Desplugada em materiais didático-digitais-computacionais (Computação Plugada), devido à pandemia causada pelo vírus Sars-CoV-2. O método adotado envolveu consulta à Base Nacional Comum Curricular (BNCC), ao currículo do Centro de Inovação da Educação Brasileira (CIEB) e diretrizes da Sociedade Brasileira de Computação (SBC) para a Educação Básica e produção de animações computacionais. Foram desenvolvidas seis animações e duas delas foram utilizadas com estudantes do 5º ano para coleta de dados. Os resultados apontam que as animações computacionais representaram um excelente meio de introduzir conceitos de Computação na escola, uma vez que, dos 28 estudantes participantes, 100% apresentou capacidade de indicar situações em que Algoritmos são empregados para a resolução de desafios, e ainda, 82% demonstrou ter assimilado o conceito de PC.
No dia três de outubro de 2022 foi homologado pelo Ministério da Educação um documento denominado ‘Normas sobre Computação na Educação Básica - Complemento à Base Nacional Comum Curricular. Esse documento apresenta habilidades e competências para o Ensino de Computação na Educação Básica brasileira. As normas implicam em uma série de desafios, como a necessidade de formar professores e oferecer materiais didáticos adequados às necessidades brasileiras. Enfrentando esses desafios, este trabalho apresenta uma análise das referidas normas, especialmente no tocante ao Pensamento Computacional no Ensino Fundamental, em comparação ao documento denominado ‘Diretrizes para Ensino de Computação na Educação Básica’, da Sociedade Brasileira de Computação. A comparação entre os documentos serve como base para a apresentação de material didático desplugado para ensino de Computação. Identifica-se que as normas e diretrizes possuem afinidades, assim como o material didático está fortemente relacionado às mesmas. Este trabalho contribui, especialmente, para a área de Ensino de Computação, por meio de uma discussão comparativa e incentiva que o material didático de Computação Desplugada venha a ser utilizado em todas as escolas de Ensino Fundamental.
A programação requer um alto nível de atenção, o que para os adultos já não é tarefa fácil. Para crianças, inseridas em um mundo virtual imagético, intuitivo e animado, a programação necessita ser introduzida seguindo estas características. Neste sentido, foi desenvolvido um simulador on-line interativo que permite às crianças o controle de motores e leds por programação. Inicialmente, as crianças utilizaram o kit físico, já que a manipulação de material concreto facilita o processo de abstraçãonecessário à programação. Em um segundo momento, foi introduzido o simulador, e, em ambos os casos, a interação foi satisfatória. O simulador traz como vantagem o seu uso por meio de uma interface web, possibilitando às crianças continuarem suas atividades extraclasses. Para realizar a análise da aprendizagem, duas etapas foram constituídas: a primeira foi referente à validação do simulador, bem como observaçãodo emprego da memória para coordenar a programação; na segunda, serão utilizados o Método Clínico de Piaget em comparação com a análise da evocação da memória explícita (coletada na primeira etapa), relacionada ao estudo da neurociência. Este artigo apresenta a primeira etapa do projeto.
A expectativa de vida brasileira está aumentando e o público idoso tem demonstrado interesse em manter-se mentalmente ativo. Para contribuir, foi desenvolvida a oficina ‘Ginástica Cerebral’ remota para pessoas idosas. A oficina trabalhou com a solução de desafios, através dos pilares do Pensamento Computacional (PC). A experiência relatada foi avaliada com questionário de satisfação baseado na escala de Likert. Os principais resultados do questionário indicam que 63,2% “gostariam muito” de continuar resolvendo atividades de PC e 36,8% “gostariam”; 84,2% acreditam que resolver atividades com os passos do PC causam “muito impacto” positivo na agilidade de pensamento e 15,8% consideram que causa “algum impacto”; 63,2% afirmam ter “gostado muito” e 36,8% ter “gostado”. Contudo 57,9% dos participantes nunca antes ouviram falar sobre PC. Os idosos demonstraram muito interesse e dinamismo na resolução dos desafios, confirmando que habilidades do PC podem ser evidenciadas em todas as idades.
