This study was carried out to investigate the effect of oral administration of aqueous and alcoholic extract of Allium sativum (Garlic) on testicular function in male mice exposed to lead acetate. Sixty adult (7-8) weeks old male mice were divided into six groups (10 micegroup), first and second group were administered with 150mgkg body weight BWday of aqueous and alcoholic extract of plant respectively. However, the third group was treated with 100 mgkgBWday of lead acetate. While the fourth and fifth groups were administered with 150 mgkgBWday. Of aqueous and alcoholic extract combination with 100 gmkg. BW of lead acetate. The sixth group treated with distilled water and served as control group throughout five weeks. At the end of experiment, treated animals were sacrificed and sperm were collected from caudal epidydymis to use for following tests: sperm concentration, motility, deadalive sperm and morphological abnormalities. Serum was isolated to assay for the analysis of, FSH, LH and testosterone level. The results showed a significant increase in sperm concentration, motility and decrease in dead and abnormal sperm in the group treated with aqueous and alcoholic extract of Allium sativum. However, the results showed decrease in sperm concentration, motility and increase in dead and abnormal sperm in the group treated with lead acetate. The other groups of animals groups treated with aqueous and alcoholic extract combination with lead acetate showed improvement in sperm concentration and motility compared to that treated with lead acetate The FSH, LH and testosterone level significantly increased in treated groups with aqueous and alcoholic extract of plant compared to group treated with lead acetate. It's concluded that aqueous and alcoholic extract of Allium sativum were significantly improved fertility in treated medicine compared to animals treated with lead acetate.

From the big list of diseases, Hyperlipidemia is very common diseases in current scenario which only occur due to improper diet, consumption of high fatty things, smoking, or with food incompatibility. In this the fat or bad cholesterol is accumulate over the heart which cause so many problems like difficulty in breath, may increase heart rate, decrease blood supply etc. In ayurveda this disease is known as Medoroga means disease of fat which directly correlated with hridyaroga. There are so many plants which help to reduce hyperlipidemia. From them Arjuna shows excellent result in the curing of hyperlipidemia. In this current study, the review on the effect of Terminalia arjuna on hyperlipidemia as per ayurvedic literature is done.

Female Fertility Blend ® (FFB) is one of new nutritional supplement that used to enhance the fertility status in women. This supplement containing vitamins, minerals, enzymes, amino acids, all may improve the oocytes quality and ovarian function; at the same time protect oocytes from free radicals damage. The aim of the study is to examine the in vivo effect of FFB on oocyte quality, and in vitro fertilization rate (IVFR), and embryonic development (ED) at early cleavage stages using the mice as a model for human being. Therefore, two groups of mature female mice were involved (20 mouse each). The treated group is daily orally administrated by 3.4mg/kg /body weight from FFB for 10 days and the other groups (the control) were treated with FFB- free distilled water only for the same period. Oocytes were collected and an epididymal sperms from mature fertilized male mice are obtained and in vitro fertilization (IVF) is done. Following 24 and 48hrs from IVF, the FR and ED rate are recorded. This results showed a significant (P<0.05) differences in fertilization rate and embryonic development when treating the female mice with FFB compared to control group. It is concluded that the FFB treatment has a great improvement in oocytes maturation and in vitro fertilization and embryonic development status.
