The purpose of this study was to identify the characteristics of pregnant women in the third trimester, identify the anxiety of pregnant women before and after self hypnosis and to find out the effect of self hypnosis on reducing anxiety in third trimester pregnant women, this research method is a quasi experiment, with a one-group pre-test and post-test design. The samples taken were 15 pregnant women. Sampling in this study using the Total Sampling method . Data was collected through a check list observation sheet and analyzed univariately and bivariately with the Wilcoxon test and presented in the form of a frequency distribution table. Results of this study the value of is 0.01 ( ρ < 0.05). The conclusion of this study states that there is an effect of self hypnosis on the anxiety of pregnant women in the third trimester at the Midwife Anni Rizkiah Practice, Sitampa Simatoras Village, South Tapanuli. Researcher Suggestions It is hoped that the midwives who drive the practice will make policies related to self-hypnosis to be taught to every pregnant woman who visits. Throughout the pregnancy process, the mother will remain calm and relaxed. Mother and baby are healthy with normal delivery.
Hypertension is a multifactorial disease arising due to various interaction factors. Increasing age will cause some physiological changes and increased peripheral resistance and sympathetic activity occurs in elderly. The aim of the study was to analyze the risk factors associated with hypertension at Sadabuan Health Center working area, Padangsidimpuan City in 2021. The study used a quantitative study with a cross sectional approach. The population was sufferers who received treatment at the Internal Medicine Clinic at Sadabuan Health Center. The sampling technique is non-probability sampling with 113 respondents. The finding showed that there was a relationship between family history (p value = 0,001), smoking (p value = 0,003), obesity (p value = 0,013) with the incidence of hypertension at Sadabuan Health Center working area, Padangsidimpuan City in 2021. It is expected that the society are be able to maintain blood pressure to stay in a normal state by doing regular physical activity, stopping smoking, reducing weight for obese ones to reduce the risk of hypertension.
Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a group of metabolic diseases characterized by hyperglycemia due to abnormalities in insulin secretion, insulin action or both. Leisure stroll includes a physical activity by taking a leisurely stroll with a distance of two kilometers for 30 min. Checking blood glucose levels was conducted before and after to find out the acute effect of the physical activity. The study aimed to determine the effect of leisure stroll (a physical activity) on blood glucose levels in type 2 diabetes mellitus. This study used quasi experiment with one group pre-test and post-test design approach. The sampling technique was purposive sampling with 19 respondents. The findings of paired t-test on the comparison before and after leisure stroll (physical activity) on blood glucose levels was found a significant change with p = 0,000(p < 0.05). It could be concluded that there was an effect of leisure stroll (a physical activity) on blood glucose levels in type 2 diabetes mellitus patients. The study is expected to be able to provide information to respondents in taking precautions as well as knowing the effect of leisure stroll on blood glucose levels.
Elderly gymnastics is a form of physical exercise that gives a good influence on the level of human physical ability, if implemented properly and correctly. This study aims to determine the effect of elderly gymnastics on blood pressure in elderly hypertension. This research design uses Quantitative Quasy Experiment with pretest and posttest design. This research was conducted at Puskesmas Pangirkiran. The number of respondents of this study as many as 40 people with the sampling technique in total sampling. The result of pretests of moderate TD gymnastics research was 18 people (45,0%). And moderate gymnastics posttets are as many as 20 people (50.0). The result of test of wilcoxon in get result p = 0.000 or p < 0,05. The results of this study indicate the influence of elderly gymnastics on blood pressure in hypertensive elderly at Pangirkiran Health Center, Halongonan Sub-district, Padang Lawas Utara Regency. It is expected that health workers always carry out routine gymnastics and conduct counseling related to hypertension problem and expected to elderly in order to increase their knowledge and often health control to health officer.
Osteoporosis is a reduced intake of vitamin D and calcium in the body. Lack of calcium in the body can lead to reduced bone density. Osteoporosis is riskier in women than in men, therefore preventive measures should be taken early. The purpose of this study is to analyze factors related to osteoporosis in women of childbearing age in Panyabungan Jae Health Center mandaling Natal. The research is quantitative with a cross-sectional study research design. The research was conducted at the Puskesmas Panyabungan Jae Mandailing Natal Regency against all PUS numbered 103 people with a sample of 82 people selected purposively. The data analysis used is Chi-Square. The results showed an age relationship with osteoporosis in women of childbearing age, where the value of the p-value is 0.037 (p < 0.05). There is an educational relationship with osteoporosis in women of childbearing age, where the value of the p-value is 0.027 (p < 0.05). There is a working relationship with osteoporosis in women of childbearing age, where the value of p-value is 0.0 26 (p < 0.05). There is an income relationship with osteoporosis in women of childbearing age, where the value of the p-value is 0.014 (p < 0.05). There is a relationship between the use of injectable birth control and osteoporosis in women of childbearing age, where the value of p-value is 0.005 (p < 0.05). This study recommend that health workers play an active role in socializing osteoporosis, in addition, WUS should regularly exercise and consume milk for osteoporosis prevention measures.
