This paper examines the role that political factors play in the investment location decisions of multinational enterprises. It has been found that foreign direct investors shy away from countries with excessive government spending, especially when this spending is directed towards the military. They also seem to have a slight preference for leftist executives and be negatively predisposed toward situations in which the ruling party has held power for prolonged periods of time. Ceteris paribus, more FDI flows to countries that have presidential systems, established political parties and where the party of the executive controls all houses with lawmaking powers.

The data was collected from 600 banking professionals through personally administered questionnaires. SPSS-21 and Amos-21 were employed to analyze the quantitative data. For the purpose of testing hypotheses, structural equation modeling technique was employed. The results of this study provide a proof of association between the role stressors and two very important types of workplace interpersonal mistreatment, the workplace bullying and workplace incivility. Additionally, it was found that workplace bullying and workplace incivility play a mediating role between role stressors and turnover intentions among banking employees of Pakistan. Furthermore, the results reveal that the banking employees having experienced bullying and incivility are very prone to form turnover inclination.
The purpose of present study is to examine the effects of external motivational factors on employees. Current study is employed Herzberg’s two-factor theory to investigate the effects of extrinsic factors on employees’ performance.in food and textile industries of Sindh, Pakistan. Seven point Likert scale is used for survey purpose. Reliability test is conducted for knowing the internal consistency of extrinsic factors as independent variables and employees’ performance as dependent variable. Pearson correlation, Analysis Of Variance (ANOVA), t test and multiple regression techniques are employed for data analysis. The results found that all extrinsic factors have positive and significant effects on employees. This study provides good amount of knowledge on the importance of extrinsic factors for improving the employees’ performance.
Organizations are acknowledging the importance of employee performance appraisals as an important measure for enhancing productivity in an organization. The independent variable in this research is the Performance appraisal system, and the dependent variable is employee productivity. The research design used in this study was a descriptive survey. The structured questionnaires for this study were adapted and developed on a five-point Likert scale and distributed randomly to non-managerial employees. The number of respondents in this research study is 210 non-managerial employees and their responses are analyzed in Smart PLS 3 software. The study concluded that an effective performance appraisal system allows employees to share their thoughts and expectations for achieving the company's strategic goals. The ability of a company to achieve its objectives and improve its workers' productivity is influenced by its performance appraisal system. Employee productivity may increase if evaluation feedback is effective. Both measurement and structural model assessments and P-values are considerable, and the results demonstrate significant and favorable results so the study concluded that an effective performance appraisal system improves employee productivity in an organization.
The current study examined the impact of multinationality and solvency on the profitability of multinational firms. In this study, a panel framework of forty-five FMCG has drawn from 2005 to 2017. This study adopted the dynamic generalized method of moments (GMM) and used the simultaneous equation method to cope with endogeneity issues and robustness result. Most of studies have formulated on large heterogeneous firms in literature and contained dummy variables, which are also causes of endogeneity. Hence in this study, large likely homogeneous firms have been used as samples. The results of this study suggest that solvency has a profound effect on performance. In this study, FMCGs showed inverse influence of multinationality on profitability. We concluded that the large FMCGs are at an optimum level of multinationality. So, if they would further increase cross-border investments, they could decrease their return on a total investment of assets.
