Urban rivers water quality is not suitable for use. The volume of river water in the city is fast full when it rains. Both of these problems need to be monitored. The purpose of monitored to give a warning to a community around the rivers. The rivers water quality determined base on the pH sensor, and turbidity sensor detection. The river water level is determined based on the results of ultrasonic sensor readings. The reading of three sensors is sent via GSM (General Service Mobile) communication network in SMS (Short Message Service) form. The reading also sent via internet data communication network to the server and displayed on web page form. This study indicates that all three sensors are able to detect pH, turbidity, and surface level of the river. The Sensors reading delivered via the GSM communication network, it provides real-time river water information. Whereas sensor readings sent via data communication networks provide river water information that is not real-time. Thus, sensor readings of water urban rivers better delivered via GSM on SMS form than via data communication on Web page form.
The curriculum transformation of primary and secondary educationin Indonesia had stimulated the transformations movement of technology. Oneof these transformations was in the form of the student grade report (e-rapor) inIndonesian schools. This transformation required primary and secondary schoolteachers to be adapted to use information technology. The efforts to answer thistransformation were carried out through the technical guidance to providetraining for teachers of Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) and Sekolah MenengahKejuruan (SMK) Persada Bandar Lampung by filling out this e-Rapor. Thistraining was carried out through several main materials i.e., the applicationinstallation, the application troubleshooting, and the use of e-Rapor. Thistraining was implemented in 3 days. Moreover, the next training was alsoconducted to deal with some of the arising problems after the technical guidancewas conducted. This technical guidance was attended by 27 teachers. Thistechnical guidance was implemented by delivering material, conducting thesimulation, and doing discussion. The result of this technical guidance wasanalyzed quantitatively through observations and discussions. It showed that alltechnical guidance participants were able to fill out the e-Rapor systemaccording to their respective roles after the technical guidance implementationon filling out the e-Rapor.
Changes in the elementary and secondary education curriculum in Indonesia have contributed to changes in the use of technology. One change in the use of technology is filling out report cards in schools. Filling out report cards in primary and secondary schools is being pushed to be transformed into electronic report cards (e-report cards). This change requires teachers in primary and secondary schools to be adept at using information technology-based tools. Efforts to answer this change were held technical guidance activities aimed at providing training to teachers in Persada Bandar Lampung High School and Vocational School to be able to fill out the electronic report cards. This activity was carried out with several main materials, namely application installation, application troubleshooting, and the use of e-report cards. This activity lasts for 3 days, but the next activity will still be assisted to deal with some of the problems that arise after the technical guidance process ends. This technical guidance was attended by 27 teachers. Technical guidance is carried out by the method of delivering material, simulation and discussion. The results of technical guidance were analyzed quantitatively based on observations and discussions indicating that all technical guidance participants were able to fill the e-report system according to their respective roles after the implementation of technical guidance on filling the e-report card system.
