Thin-film Zn 2 GeO 4 :Mn phosphors with lower temperature of crystallization and potentially compatible with industrial technologies were investigated. The technology of thin films synthesis has been developed and their structure and crystal parameters have been investigated. Photoluminescence excitation spectra, photoconductivity, temperature dependencies and ESRspectra of manganese ions were studied. A mechanism for luminescence in this phosphor has been proposed. Results are presented of cathodo-and electro-luminescence of thin film structures of Zn 2 GeO 4 :Mn.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
