Background:One important aspect that should be considered by the hospitals to improve patient medication interest is to build a positive brand image in its society. A brand is believed to be able to improve the communication and interaction with consumers. The stronger the brand image, the more powerful interaction with customers, so the more established brand image. The more positive brand image is formed, the higher the patient's interest to make a purchase and vice versa, the more negative brand image that is formed, then consumers will tend to look for other alternatives or moved. The purpose of this study was to find out wheter there is a positive correlation between brand image and the interest of patients for medication at child polyclinics Rumah Sakit PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. Methode: This research used descriptive method with cross sectional approach. Sample of this research was taken from the family of medical patient at children clinic of Rumah Sakit PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta, amounting to 87 people. Measurement of brand image and interests of patients for medication used a questionnaire that had previously been tested on 30 respondents out of subjects. Data analysis using univariate analysis, bivariate, and multivariate. Result: There was a positive influence of brand image with the interests of patients to take a medication at the children clinic of Rumah Sakit PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta as indicated by the value of the correlation coefficient (r) of 0.798 with a significance value of 0.000; Conclusion: There was a positive influence of brand image with the interests of patients to take a medication at the children clinic of Rumah Sakit PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta.Key words: brand image, the interest of patients for medication.
Background: Policy about manage medical record had managed the system for reach order administration and improvement health services to show quality of hospital. New policy from Permenkes No.269/MENKES/PER/III/2008 make influence in this hospital policy because some policy using old government policy. At previously research, implementation that policy had many problem with some factor problem to fill in the main diagnose and the accurate code diagnose. The purpose of research is to know the policy to fill in the main diagnose and the accurate diagnose code at medical record in PKU Muhammadiyah hospital Yogyakarta. Method: This was non experiment research, this is deskriptif kualitatif and kuantitatif data as supporting to explain. The subject of research was internis, head of medical record, coder and documents medical record patient treatment internal disease at November 2008. Technique sampling for doctor internal disease, head of medical record, and coder was purposive sampling. But Technique sampling for documents medical record was simple random sampling. Kualitatif data tested validity with triangulasi. While for kuantitatif data the accurate diagnose code check using ICD-10. Result: The result of triangulasi identificated some factor problem to fill in the main diagnose and the accurate code diagnose. There is completeness documents medical record, busy, forget, lazy, not discipline, over burden work, patient APS, new terminology, difference perception, tools not support. The other policy most supporting that activity policy. Conclusion:The policy most important for manage activity and communication between staff most supporting to result of policy implementation. Some factor problem can be overcome if all staff aware that policy is important and put into effect.
Background : Paradigm of a healthy life can be the foundation for better understanding the complexities of public health issues. Four main factors that influence health status of individuals/ communities, among other behavioral factors, environmental, health and genetic services. Health factors play a role in this concept is the third largest. Health care institutions are also required to improve quality in providing outstanding service, such as by improving the quality of medical record keeping activities.High and low quality of health services can be seen from the data whether or not complete treatment are listed in the medical record. Medical records are very important in carrying out the quality of medical care. A medical record has seven competencies, one of which is a medical records management unit. Place of registration of patients in Puskesmas Banguntapan II regency there are still many problems. So, it needs planning system in order to improve the quality of health services. The research objective is planning a medical record system based on inputs and processes at patient registration. Methode : This was descriptive research using qualitative method. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation tools while using field notes, check lists, interview guides, tape recorder, and stationery. Analysis of studies using data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Result : The results showed that there was many problems in the review of resource inputs (man, money, materials, methods, mechine, and the market) so that it can identify the problem. Based on the identification of the problem it will get priority problems and causes of the problems that arise alternate problem solving. Under an agreement resolving the jury was selected from several alternative settlement of existing problems. The results of selected problem-solving that will be the planning system. Conclusion: there was many problems in the review of resource inputs (man, money, materials, methods, mechine, and the market) and the planning system in particular parts of the registration of medical records of patients can be prepared based on the analysis of the situation.
Background: Indonesia has long recognized and uses traditional medicine as an effort in tackling health problems. Person's behavior in decision-making related to knowledge and attitude of a person in seeing a problem. The interviews found 30% of the population still believes in traditional medicine than medical treatment for about public trust traditional medicine, get counseling about medical treatment and health service facilities are difficult to reach. The purpose of this research is to know the relationship of knowledge, attitudes, behavior family heads with the traditional treatment decision-making in the village of Central Rambah Hilir, Rokan Hulu, Riau. Methods: This study was observational analytic research with cross sectional design. Population studies of the head of the family who are living in the village of Lower Central District Rambah Rokan Hulu in Riau. Sampling technique it was by random sampling to multistage sampling approach. Samples obtained as many as 86 people. Descriptive data analyzed using frequency distribution tables and analytically to determine the relationship between two variables with chisquare. Results: Result of research indicate that there was relation having a meaning amongh knowledge household with the decision making of traditional medicine equal to p=0,003. There was relation between of among attitude household and with the decision making of traditional medicine equal to p=0,000. There is relation having a meaning of among behavior household with occurrence of the decision making of traditional medicine equal to p=0,000. Conclusion: All accurate free variables there was relation between knowledge, attitudes, behavior and decision making of traditional medicine.
Background: Service center medical skin is a new service PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital in Yogyakarta, the necessary research to find out the marketing strategy plan that will be used PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital in Yogyakarta. The marketing strategies of medical skin care center that will be researched to see of the marketing mix, consisting of product, price, place, promotion, people, processes and Physical evidence, from the marketing mix in the analysis using the SWOT analysis to determine the right strategy. Method: The study was descriptive qualitative research. The subjects in this study were the Director of Medical Services, Marketing Manager, one Marketing staff, dermatologist and six patients. The instrument used a form of interview guidelines and the type of recorder. Data analysis Used SWOT analysis. Results: (1) Aspects of the product; Products used in cooperation with Ristra because Ristra is a product that has been certified legal, so safe to use MUI emergency. (2) Aspects of the price, price is still relatively cheap because they still get the discount. (3) Aspects of the place; PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital in Yogyakarta strategically located alongside the highway easily accessible by any transportation making it easier for patients to come to the skin medical center. (4) Promotion: Promotion is not maximized, not broad market area just around the DIY. (5) People; trained human resources, good, loyal and work according to the procedure, Consumers who feel happy and satisfied with the services provided at the medical center skin. (6) Physical evidence; facilities and infrastructure such as physical buildings, medical equipment provided by hospital and has been standard. (7) Process: The process of medical skin care center for treatment tailored to the criteria that will be used in patient care, marketing process of the skin as support medical center for promotional material. Conclusion:The PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital in Yogyakarta in cooperation with the product Ristra because. legal and safe to use, its strategic location but the parking lot should be disciplined, the promotion should be more leverage and targets a broader region, based on SWOT analysis the most appropriate strategy used PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital in Yogyakarta is an aggressive strategy because it can be made in reference to using a strategy oriented to growth stage.
