Los humanos pueden estar infestados por tres tipos de piojos: los de la cabeza Pediculus humanus capitis; los del cuerpo, Pediculus humanos corporis, y los del pubis, Pthirus pubis. (1). En este reporte de caso se hará énfasis especial en Pediculosis Capitis.
La sarna noruega es una forma aguda de la sarna que se observa en pacientes inmunosupresos. A continuación se presenta el caso de un paciente de 73 años con antecedente de insuficiencia renal con diagnóstico de sarna noruega.
