Abstract:La pediculosis es una enfermedad parasitaria de distribución mundial que afecta la piel y cuero cabelludo. Los humanos pueden estar infestados por tres tipos de piojos: los de la cabeza Pediculus humanus capitis; los del cuerpo, Pediculus humanos corporis, y los del pubis, Pthirus pubis. (1). En este reporte de caso se hará énfasis especial en Pediculosis Capitis.
