La necesidad de alinear las estrategias de la organización con las nuevas tecnologías de la información y comunicaciones ha sido impuesta por el desarrollo alcanzado por las mismas, siendo la Arquitectura Empresarial (AE) uno de los enfoques que posibilita realizar dicha alienación. Para implementar un proyecto de AE, se necesita partir de un diagnóstico que determine el estado actual de la organización para desarrollar, mantener y aplicar este enfoque, a través de un proceso continuo. Para ello se puede utilizar un modelo de madurez, que da la pauta para desarrollar estrategias de mejoras y alcanzar los objetivos previstos. El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo diseñar una tecnología que permita evaluar el grado de madurez de una organización. La propuesta parte de la aplicación de una lista de chequeo que recoge los aspectos fundamentales de las capas que conforman la Arquitectura Empresarial. Las preferencias de los cuadros y trabajadores involucrados son consideradas utilizando un enfoque Multicriterio, en particular, una función Scoring. Como resultado, se obtienen los niveles de madurez de las organizaciones consideradas y las aplicaciones permitieron detectar que las capas de mayores insuficiencias son las de negocio e información.
En el presente trabajo se presentan los resultados alcanzados al integrar la metodología Seis Sigma, las técnicas de simulación discreta y las técnicas multicriteriales para la mejora de un servicio de belleza en que se deseaba obtener la mejor solución de compromiso entre los ingresos, los costos, la utilización de los recursos y la satisfacci\'on del cliente.
Se utilizó la metodología DMAIC proponiéndose un procedimiento en el que se define para cada fase las herramientas de simulación, de toma de decisiones multiatributo, estadísticas y de control y gestión de la calidad. El uso de la simulación permitió analizar las diferentes acciones de mejoras y determinar los valores de las variables de interés definidas por el grupo administrativo. Se utilizó dentro de las técnicas multicriteriales, el índice PRES el cual permitió ordenar las acciones considerando las preferencias de los expertos.
El desempeño exitoso de las organizaciones de producción de bienes materiales o servicio pasan necesariamente por una correcta localización de los elementos que conforman el sistema productivo, de modo que permita responder satisfactoriamente no sólo a las situaciones actuales sino también a posibles escenarios futuros. Entre las técnicas de la Investigación de Operaciones, que resultan de utilidad para analizar el comportamiento de los sistemas, está la Simulación, la que ha demostrado sus ventajas en la cuantificación de variables de salida o indicadores de interés, asociados a cada escenario diseñado. En particular, en este artículo se evidencia la conveniencia del uso de la Simulación para evaluar el layout de una organización ante distintos escenarios y múltiples criterios. Se muestran los pasos de un enfoque híbrido basado en la Simulación y técnicas Multicriterio y su aplicación a dos casos de estudio. Para evaluar el comportamiento de los sistemas según el layout diseñado, se generan y resuelven respectivos modelos de Simulación a través del lenguaje ARENA en su versión 15.0. Además, como técnicas multiatributo para la selección del layout preferido se aplican los métodos: lexicográfico y EDIPO; en este último caso con el uso del software DECISION.
