Primeiros socorros são cuidados imediatos prestados a uma pessoa cujo estado físico está em risco e tem como objetivo manter as funções vitais da vítima e evitar o agravamento de suas condições. Tendo em vista a importância da capacitação da população em geral, para atuar em situações de urgência e emergência até a chegada da assistência especializada e o número de pessoas da comunidade interna da Unicamp, o Centro de Saúde da Comunidade (CECOM) implementou, em 2002, o Grupo de Capacitação em Primeiros Socorros (GCPS) para a comunidade Unicamp. Este grupo tem por objetivo a difusão de conhecimentos referente à atuação correta do socorrista leigo, frente a uma situação de agravo à saúde, contribuindo para redução de danos e uma assistência pré-hospitalar de qualidade Metodologia: Foi realizada uma análise descritiva do total de palestras e treinamentos realizados pelo GCPS, o número total de horas ministradas e o número total de participantes neste intervalo no período de fevereiro de 2018 à junho de 2019. Resultados: A capacitação em primeiros socorros é realizada mediante solicitação prévia da unidade interessada. O público-alvo é trabalhadores e alunos que tenham algum vínculo com a universidade. A capacitação compreende palestras e treinamentos com duração de até oito horas, incluindo: apresentação oral, aula prática com utilização de equipamentos didáticos e avaliação do aprendizado, sendo estes dois últimos realizados apenas nos treinamentos. Para as aulas práticas o CECOM dispõe de cinco manequins simuladores de ressuscitação cardiopulmonar e um desfibrilador externo automático de treinamento. As aulas abordam os seguintes temas: ética, avaliação inicial, choque elétrico, queimadura, imobilização e transporte da vítima, desobstrução de vias aéreas superiores, intoxicação, acidentes com animais peçonhentos, ferimentos, hemorragia, cãibras, convulsão, desmaio e parada cardiorrespiratória. No período de fevereiro de 2018 a junho de 2019, foram realizadas 17 capacitações, compreendendo 12 treinamentos e 5 palestras num total de 62 e 7,5 horas respectivamente. Participaram 468 pessoas (funcionários, alunos e docentes), o que equivale à aproximadamente 1% da comunidade interna da Unicamp. Considerações finais: A capacitação em primeiros socorros aumenta a segurança e atitude das pessoas diante de uma situação de urgência e emergência contribuindo para um melhor desfecho da vítima com um agravo à saúde, bem como sua recuperação. Dessa forma, o GCPS do CECOM tem contribuído para promover uma assistência pré-hospitalar de melhor qualidade além de garantir melhor autonomia para a Comunidade Interna da Unicamp.
A criação de um espaço, no local de trabalho, para a reflexão sobre hábitos de vida e auto cuidado, oferece a oportunidade de pensar sobre como superar barreiras, internas e externas, que levam à repetição de condições como sedentarismo, escolhas alimentares inadequadas, sobrecargas emocionais.
Introdução: O uso de plantas medicinais e fitoterápicos é amplo e desenvolvido em diferentes racionalidades médicas e práticas integrativas e complementares. No município de Campinas existe uma tradição no uso de plantas medicinais na Rede Pública de Saúde, porém, não havia projeto estruturado no modelo proposto da Farmácia Viva, que foi instituído no SUS de Campinas pela Portaria nº886/20-04-2010. O Espaço Mandala participa do desenvolvimento deste programa contribuindo com os Centros de Saúde (CS) do município, por meio de atividades de cultivo de plantas medicinais e fornecimento de mudas do seu patrimônio botânico, tornando acessível à população assistida receber a planta medicinal in natura com a devida orientação sobre a correta preparação e uso seguro. Metodologia: Têm sido desenvolvidas parcerias institucionais, com atuação efetiva de profissionais no desenvolvimento de um projeto amplo e diferenciado para atender as comunidades dos CS de Campinas. Foram realizadas capacitações de: análise de solo, cultivo de plantas medicinais, reconhecimento e uso seguro de diferentes espécies de plantas, discussão da Cartilha de Plantas Medicinais, com as 20 principais mais utilizadas nos serviços de saúde de Campinas. Resultados: No Espaço Mandala foi realizada a implementação da Farmácia Viva, observando-se grande interesse e motivação de profissionais envolvidos e de grupos colaboradores. Realizou-se neste local a propagação de mais espécies de plantas tornando-se área de educação ambiental oficial. O trabalho multidisciplinar deste projeto foi diferenciado pela amplitude de conhecimentos compartilhados permitindo ações efetivas de formação de pessoas e criação de espaços de cultivo de plantas medicinais.
Conclui-se que os profissionais precisam estar preparados para analisar a questão de forma que essa postura apresentada pelo "paciente expert" não seja vista como um enfrentamento, mas sim, como uma informação que pode ser revertida a favor do atendimento.
