Penyakit refraksi adalah kelainan refraksi cahaya pada mata, sehingga cahaya tidak terfokus pada retina atau makula. Jika daya biasnya tidak seperti ini, maka cahaya akan lebih fokus pada bagian depan retina (misalnya rabun jauh, rabun jauh), dan dengan kaca mata negatif, atau fokus pada bagian belakang retina, seperti hyperopia (rabun dekat), yang membutuhkan penggunaan lensa. Pelaksanaan perkuliahan secara langsung di tengah Pandemi Covid-19 pasti sangat beresiko dalam penularan virus Covid-19. Perkuliahan online pastinya menjadi alternatif agar kegiatan pendidikan tetap dapat berlangsung tanpa harus melanggar protokol kesehatan, namun kegiatan perkuliahan online yang secara otomatis meningkatkan penggunaan gadget juga perlu untuk dikaji secara serius untuk menghindarkan penurunan vision pada Mahasiswa selama menjalani perkuliahan online. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan akan menjadi referensi bagi penetapan jadwal perkuliahan yang tepat dan sesuai tanpa menimbulkan kelainan refraksi dan berujung pada penurunan visus mahasiswa yang mengikuti perkuliahan online. Rancangan penelitian yang akan digunakan adalah studi Observasional dengan desain crossectional terhadap 84 mahasiswa Fakultas Kesehatan Masyarakat, Institut Kesehatan Deli Husada, Deli Tua yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis Prevalensi Penurunan Visus Akibat Kelainan Refraksi selama perkuliahan online masa Pandemi Covid-19. Metode penarikan sampel yang digunakan adalah proportional random sampling, dimana sampel penelitian diambil secara merata pada 3 tingkatan studi mahasiswa yaitu masing-masing sebanyak 28 responden pada setiap tingkatan studi. Setelah pelaksanaan Perkuliahan daring pada 84 orang responden terdapat 30 orang (35,7%) responden yang mengalami Penurunan Visus Akibat Kelainan Refraksi selama perkuliahan online masa Pandemi Covid-19.
Pandemi COVID-19 adalah tantangan terbesar bagi sistem kesehatan di seluruh dunia saat ini. Rumah sakit di Indonesia dihadapkan pada pengembangan surge capacity agar kebutuhan pelayanan medis yang meningkat dapat dipenuhi dengan baik. Wabah COVID-19 yang berkembang pesat di Indonesia mengharuskan semua rumah sakit untuk dapat beradaptasi dengan cepat dan memastikan pelayanan yang aman bagi pasien maupun petugas kesehatan. Tantangan yang dihadapi adalah bagaimana memastikan pasien dengan atau tanpa COVID-19 yang mengalami henti jantung mendapatkan kesempatan untuk selamat tanpa membahayakan keselamatan penolong yang tentunya akan dibutuhkan untuk merawat pasien - pasien berikutnya. Ditambah dengan COVID-19 yang sangat menular, hal ini tentunya menimbulkan tantangan tersendiri dalam hal respon emergensi dan mungkin mempengaruhi angka morbiditas maupun mortalitas. Rancangan penelitian yang akan digunakan adalah crossectional study pada 13 orang perawat TIM Emergency khusus penanganan Covid-19 dan 15 orang perawat TIM Emergency untuk kasus normal di RSUD Sembiring, Deli Tua yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis Pengelolaan Tim Emergensi RS dalam Keselamatan Pasien (COVID dan Non-COVID). Data primer Data yang di peroleh langsung dari responden melalui wawancara dengan menggunakan instrumen (kuesioner) . Data sekunder berupa data kepegawaian dari RSUD Sembiring, Deli Tua. Ada hubungan komponen Personel dengan pengelolaan Tim Emergensi RS dalam Keselamatan Pasien (COVID dan Non-COVID). Ada hubungan SOP dan legal aspect dengan pengelolaan Tim Emergensi RS dalam Keselamatan Pasien (COVID dan Non-COVID). Ada hubungan ketersediaan sarana dengan pengelolaan TIM Emergensi RS dalam Keselamatan Pasien (COVID dan Non-COVID).
