No entanto, ainda é pouco conhecido e difundido no contexto educacional brasileiro. Self-efficacy in the educational field: review of the literature on Brazilian journals AbstractThe construct of self-efficacy, or judgment made by an individual on his own ability to act in a given field, has been investigated in different areas of knowledge. However, it is still little known and widespread in the Brazilian educational context. The objective of the research was to identify the self-efficacy studies conducted in Brazilian society, its methodological clippings and main results. Fifteen items selected in the databases SciELO, LILACS and Redalyc were analyzed using the terms self-efficacy or self-efficacy in conjunction with the key words: student, student, teacher, teaching, learning and school. The results revealed that the research emphasize the areas of academic self-efficacy and teacher self-efficacy, predominantly quantitative research, using scales. It considers that research with a qualitative approach, beyond the focus of other elements of the educational context (directors, coordinators etc.) are needed to better understand the role of self-efficacy beliefs in the context investigated. Keywords: Self-efficacy; education; literature review. Abstract--Previous studies focusing on teacher education have highlighted the role that supervised practicum plays in the construction of future teachers' personal beliefs, including self-efficacy beliefs, yet there remains a need to understand which learning experiences contribute to the constitution of this belief during the supervised practicum. Our objective was to identify situations that influenced student teachers' judgment of self-efficacy during the development of supervised practicum. This exploratory and descriptive documentary research analyzed 18 reflective portfolios produced by student teachers' during their supervised practicum in a physical education teaching program course. The experience of teaching in locus and the opportunity to experience everyday school-life were recurring situations in 15 out of the 18 analyzed portfolios. The results led us to believe that offering student teachers the possibility to meet and experience the teaching environment in advance contributed positively, through enactive mastery experiences, to the building of their self-efficacy beliefs concerned to teaching.
Palavras-chave: autoeficácia, atividade física, adesão ao exercício ABSTRACT Self-efficacy to regular practice of physical activity (PA) can be defined as the ability to keep practicing exercises even with some obstacles that could appear. It is constituted through the influence of 4 main sources: mastery experiences, vicarious experiences, social persuasion and physiological and affective states. The aim of the study was to measure the level of self-efficacy to the regular practice of PA, its construction sources and correlate the level of self-efficacy with each one of the sources. An amount of 196 practitioners of PA took part in this study. The results showed that the level of self-efficacy was 111.19 points in scale that can range from 18 to 162 points. The most prominent source in the construction of self-efficacy was the social persuasion, with an average of 27.64 points in scale that can range from 4 to 36 points. For the correlations, it was used the Pearson coefficient (r). Mastery experiences stood out among the other sources (r = .30). The results agree with the literature, establishing the importance of the encouragement of close people in the maintenance of the behavior to practice PA, as well as to observe positive models, success experiences and feel comfortable during the exercises.
