Ikan asin kering merupakan produk olahan pangan yang dalam prosesnya melalui beberapa tahap, diantaranya adalah proses penggaraman dan pengeringan. Proses tersebut dilakukan agar ikan asin dapat bertahan lama. Proses pengeringan dapat dilakukan dengan menjemur ikan yang telah melalui proses penggaraman di bawah sinar matahari langsung. Tetapi proses ini memakan waktu yang relatif lama karena sangat bergantung pada cuaca. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk merancang dan membuat mesin pengering ikan asin yang lebih efesien waktu. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan merancang rangka kemudian mengujicoba mesin dan selanjutnya menganalisis mesin untuk memastikan mesin dapat bekerja dengan baik. Hasil pengujian menunjukan bahwa mesin pengering ikan asin tipe rak dengan kapasitas 20kg dapat bekerja maksimal dengan proses pengeringan ikan hanya membutuhkan waktu 6 jam. Mesin pengering ini mampu mengurangi kadar air pada ikan sepat asin dari 55% menjadi 35,48%. Suhu panas yang baik untuk proses pengeringan ikan sepat asin agar diperoleh hasil pengeringan yang rata dan kering adalah 70°C - 80°C.
Digital Storytelling is a modern form of the storytelling art. The implementation of digital storytelling is expected to provide an alternative classroom activity in teaching listening and help the students in understanding a text as well as learning the value, particularly in narrative text. This study presented the description of the implementation of digital storytelling as a post–listening activity to teach narrative text to the fifth grade students. The data of the study gathered from the result of observation that was obtained through observation sheet and field notes, and interview in order to find out the students’ responses toward the activity. The data were collected by observing the teacher’s and students’ activities during the teaching and learning processes in the classroom, and interviewing the students’ opinions and teacher’s perception after implementing digital storytelling. The result of the observation showed that the fifth grade students were able to create their digital storytelling, even though one step was omitted and the other two steps were conducted at the same time. Meanwhile, from the result of interview, it was found that the students enjoyed in joining the lesson. Thus, the implementation of digital storytelling had improved the students’ mastery in understanding narrative text.
Purpose: The aim of this Community Service was to train the participants, whom the teachers of TK/TPA Al Mu’minun, to use the Tree – Lingual teaching media or the Language Tree as well as to facilitate them exploring their skills in developing teaching aids. Research methodology: The method used was training the participants, both teachers and students of the TK/TPA Al Mu’minun using tree – lingual teaching media which the students were able to learn three languages ??at once, namely Indonesian, English, and Arabic by using the trilingual cards which were put inside the character pouches where were attached in the branches and trunks of the Language Tree. Results: From the training activities showed that the students enthusiastically engaged to the training session, especially when they were asked to come in front of the class to choose the pouches on the tree – lingual. The teachers were also excited to practice on how to use the learning media as well as disclosed that they had several ideas on developing the learning media. Conclusions: Through this training, the teachers were also provided with the knowledge about how to create and develop learning media that are not only applicable and innovative, but also brings fun for students. They were also expected to be able to increase productivity in creating educational products to improve the trilingual learning process in their area. Limitations: This Community Service was limited to the use of tree - lingual teaching media for primary level. Jembayan Tengah village is improving itself to transform into an agrotourism village based on community agriculture and creative economy. This community service aims to increase the capability of tourism awareness groups (Pokdarwis) in strengthening tourism in the tourist village of Jembayan Tengah. The method used is training with theory, practice, and tutorials. This service has resulted in Pokdarwis who are capable of being tour guides and formed several models of tour packages that can be offered to tourists.
Preparation of Jembayan Tengah Village towards an agro-tourism area based on agriculture and a creative economy is one of the priorities. BUMDes DJT Berjaya in collaboration with the Tourism Awareness Group (POKDARWIS) Kampong Seraong to create a sustainable Jembayan Tengah Tourism Village. In terms of organizational governance, BUMDes DJT Berjaya is in crisis, but this organization is open to restructuring management by the community who are committed to advancing the village. This service program is focused on BUMDes management training to improve the governance system and classify business units. In addition, training on the creation and management of village websites was carried out as a first step in digitizing which will work together with kutaicoding.com. The results are an increase in the quality of organizational governance for BUMDes and POKDARWIS as well as the creation of a website that contains profiles, organizational activities and complaint features.
Workshop activity has to follow the regulation of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) in order to minimalize accident at the workplace. Every worker must put on Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) to prevent him/herself from hazards in the workshop. Some PPE are helmet, protective clothing, safety shoes, gloves, etc. However, Muslim women, who work on the workshop, have a problem because there is no certain safety hijab for the PPE standardized. This research aims to analyze the criteria of safety hijab design used for the part of PPE. The data were collected using Kansei Method, i.e. designing preliminary research, compiling Kansei words, drafting Semantic Differential (SD) questionnaire, distributing the SD I questionnaire, conducting statistics analysis I, collecting product sample, developing design based on customers' preferences. From the collecting data result, it could be concluded that the Kansei words for safety hijab were the ergonomic factors and syar'i factors.
