This study examines politeness utterances implemented with manaa kanban (ethics plank) in Sundanese society. In Japanese culture, this method is intended as a medium for giving specific directions and instructions. In the context of this research, the Kanban method has a pragmatic goal of motivating people to care about cleanliness and natural beauty. It is also an effort to regenerate Sundanese politeness discourses as a way of life for the people of West Java, which has always been instilled and contains noble values. Methods The research was conducted through field observations, searching for data from respondents using taping techniques. The theory used is pragmatics related to the principle of politeness, the relationship between speakers and their speech, as well as soft Japanese expressions (kanwa hyougen). This research was conducted in Sayang village, Subang, West Java. The results of the study revealed that in some places, there were no garbage disposal facilities, and there were trees that were used as promotional media for certain interests.
Desa Sayang di Kecamatan Jatinangor merupakah salah satu desa yang hasil pertaniannya menghasilkan varian umbi-umbian, salah satunya adalah ubi jalar. Pengolahan hasil pertanian ini menjadi produk kuliner merupakan salah satu faktor yang dapat membantu meningkatkan ekonomi masyarakat. Selain melakukan pengolahan bahan menjadi varian makanan yang selama ini sudah dikenal, modifikasi terhadap jenis olahan tersebut menjadi hal yang cukup penting demi mempertahankan daya jual produk tersebut. Kegiatan PPM ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan modifikasi terhadap variasi olahan ubi jalar yang sudah dilakukan oleh masyarakat di Jepang sekaligus memperkenalkan cara melakukan pemasaran terhadap hasil kreasi makanan tersebut. Kegiatan ini dilakukan melalui metode observasi di lapangan dengan teknik sadap rekam dan metode terjun langsung ke lapangan melalui praktek langsung (edukasi dan sosialisasi) pembuatan makanan. Teori yang digunakan untuk mengkaji masalah ini berasal dari Setiawan Sabana (2001). Kondisi di lapangan menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat terutama kaum perempuan yang terdiri dari ibu dan anak remaja menunjukkan minat yang tinggi terhadap kreasi makanan baru dan edukasi terhadap pemasaran produk tersebut.
This research focuses on the main problem that employee job satisfaction in the departments, agencies, offices, and secretariats of Sumedang Regency, West Java, that deliver public services is less than optimal. This study thus investigates the reasons for employees’ lack of job satisfaction. It is based on the theoretical context of public administration science and applies the research method of quantitative analysis, while the population it studies are the structural officials who work in Sumedang. The research hypothesis is examined using the Partial Least Squares (PLS) approach to Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), supported by the Smart Partial Least Squares (SmartPLS) computer software program. The results of the study show that communication style, individual initiative, and the reward system together have a strong and significant influence on managerial support, which in turn affects employee job satisfaction in departments, agencies, offices, and secretariats in Sumedang. The study concludes that the concept of managerial support has a strong and definitive effect on employee job satisfaction. The findings suggest the need for further research on how communication style, individual initiative, reward systems, and managerial support can contribute to improving public services, especially from the perspective of public administration science. This study’s originality lies in how it highlights the need to adopt more flexible human resources management in the public sector, similar to that employed in the business sector.
Advertisements are packaged in such a way that it is very influential to convey messages and at the same time influence or suggest products to the public. In shampoo advertisements from one country to another, there are cultural peculiarities of the people. This research has a problem formulation, namely the character of shampoo advertising culture in China and Indonesia. In solving the problem formulation, this research uses Pierce's semiotic theory using data in the form of advertisements for the Pantene, Clear, and Sunsilk shampoo brands. The analysis is carried out with a qualitative method. The results of this study show that shampoo advertisements in China and Indonesia in general have similarities with displaying a picture of a woman, but both have their own character that shows a picture of the people of their respective countries.
This article discusses the Mora disspation process in Japanese language mainly exposed by looking at the mora in literature point of view. The object that being used is a novel called “Narcissu” by the Japanese Author, Tomo Kataoka. The purpose of writing this article is to describe the disipation in Mora in Japanese language written in the form of literature. The research method used in this research is descriptive method. In analyzing the data, the author use the reference theory based on Morphology byIori Isao. The use of theories help the author to get to the conclusion that in Japan’s daily conversation, the use of proper full mora in term of verb seldom been mention. The result of this studies show that the reason of the Mora dissipation in conversation is because of the implicitory in term of talking. In other words, it can be seen that Japanese language speaker often not using the proper word on their conversation mainly because there’s a mutual understandment in term of implicitory word that keep them talk with less word.
