Abstract. This study aims to determine the effect of self-talk and Imagery relaxation exercises on the concentration and accuracy of 3point shoot in basketball. The method used in this study was an experimental design with two groups pretest-posttest design. The subjects in this study were 12 young basketball athletes with 6 male and 6 female with purposive sampling, who were divided into two groups of experimental groups with match subject ordinal pairing (MSOP) based on the ranking of tembakan 3 angka accuracy. The instrument used is a modification of the AAHPRED basketball skill test speed spot shoot (3 point accuracy shot) and concentration grid. The data analysis technique used is paired t test with significance level ? = 0.05. The results of this study showed (1) there is a significant difference in the effect of exercise between self talk and Imagery relaxation exercises on concentration with each having an increase of 27.71% (self talk) and 10.97% (imagery relaxation), (2) there os significant differences effect between self-talk and Imagery relaxation exercises in increase of the accuracy of tembakan 3 angka with each increase 38.61% (self talk) and 20.88% (imagery relaxation). Exercise using self talk has better benefits in increasing concentration and accuracy of tembakan 3 angka accuracy.Keyword :Self talk, imagery relaxation, concentration, tembakan 3 angka
Kesegaran jasmani seseorang adalah kemampuan tubuh seseorang untuk melakukan tugas pekerjaan sehari-hari tanpa menimbulkan kelelahan yang berarti, untuk dapat mencapai kondisi kesegaran jasmani yang prima seseorang perlu melakukan latihan fisik yang melibatkan beberapa komponen kesegaran jasmani dengan metode latihan yang benar. Semakin tinggi tingkat kesegaran jasmani seseorang, semakin besar kemampuan fisiknya dan produktifitas kerjanya, khususnya dalam bidang olahraga. Sebagai Pelatih dan Guru olahraga, yang bertanggung jawab atas prestasi anak asuhannya. Perlu melengkapi dirinya dengan pengetahuan tentang cara-cara mengukur dan menilai status kondisi fisik tersebut.Cara evaluasi yang tepat yang harus dilakukan yaitu dengan cara Tes dan Pengukuran terhadap atlet ataupun siswa. Tes dan pengukuran dapat dilakukan dengan beberapa cara dan tahap yang mempunyai manfaat dan tujan dilakukannya tes tersebut. Dan tes tersebut dibagi menjadi bebrapa komponen kondisi fisik serta beberapa jenis tes yang sudah dikelompokan. Dengan melakukan tes dan pengukuran ini kita dapat mengambil beberapa manfaat, diantaranya kita dapat mengevaluasi tahap latihan yang telah dilakukan, dengan hal itu kita dapat mengetahui seberapa perkembangan kondisi fisik seseorang, selain kita bisa mengembangkan prestasi atlet, kita juga bisa menjadikan ini sebagai bahan perbaikan dalam pemebelajaran atau pelatihan.
Complex training is an exercise method that combines plyometrics with strength training. This exercise is an exercise used to increase muscle power. This study aims to determine the effect of training of complex training methods towards leg muscle power and arm muscle power for adolescent volleyball athletes. The method used in this study is an experiment with a control group pretest - post test design. Subjects in this study are 23 adolescent volleyball athletes (14-17 years old) with 12 males and 11 females, who are divided into two groups of experimental groups (n = 12) and control groups (n = 11) with randomized matched pair design based on the ranking of the vertical jump ability. Instrument used in this study is vertical jump test (leg power) and the medicine ball throw test (arm power). The data analysis technique uses the paired t-test with a significance level of α = 0.05. The results show that training using a complex training method provides a good benefit in improving leg and arm muscle power. Therefore, this method is appropriate for used by adolescent volleyball athletes that have had experience of weight training in improving muscle power towards adolescent volleyball athletes
this research aimed at determining the enlivening system of basketball in South Sumatera where the system has been implemented by the South Sumatra Sport committee (KONI) and Basketball administrator (Perbasi) South Sumatera Region through the athletes and basketball coaches in the region. This research is a descriptive research. The research method employed is survey method through the use of closed questionnaire as the research instrument. The population of the study included the athletes and basketball coaches in the South Sumatera region. The sample was taken through the use of with purposive sampling technique to cover 120 respondents which were made of 20 regional basketball coaches and 100 rregional aathletes. Data analysis techniques used were descriptive data analysis techniques. The results of this research indicate that 30% of the regional basketball coaches were in excellent category, 50% were in good category, 20% were in good category, and none of them was in poor category. It was also discovered that 25% of the regional athletes were in excellent category, 65% were in good category, 10% were in good category and none was also in poor category. Based on these results, it was concluded that the enlivening system of basketball in South Sumatera is in good category
The application of data mining technique currently is widely used in supporting business activity, especially for insurance company which has to analyze a big number of customer data. The insurance company has to predict its new customer acquisition as well as maintain its existing customers. This paper is focused on how we support insurance companies, especially PT. XYZ, to analyze their customers’ characteristics data using the best data mining algorithm technique. The research aims to analyze existing customer data and to predict as well as find optimal patterns of how many of their customers will extend their insurance policies, and how many will not. We also explore the customer retention rate discovering the optimal solution for the company. We applied 4 different algorithms were applied, i.e. support vector machine algorithm, decision tree, k-NN, and random forest algorithm, comparing the results and finding a better solution. From the analysis, we found that the random forest algorithm provides better results in predicting the status of the insurance policy extension of current customers, with an accuracy rate of 91.08% and AUC value of 0.962. This result is quite good for PT XYZ, and could be enhanced in the future by applying a good strategy to increase their customer renewal ratio.
