The purpose of this research is to measure the effect of study of I-SETS (Islamic, Science, Environment, Technology and Society) toward the student�s study result in experiment group. The research method is using quantitative approach with quasi experiment and construction of Nonrandomized Control Group Pretest-Postest Design. The population in this research is X grade student from MA Darul Ulum Palangka Raya academic years 2012/2013, sample in this research is X-A grade student (experiment group) and X-B grade student (control group). The result of this research showed that: (a) Student�s result in experiment group was increasing from the pre-test to the post-test with the average from 46,29 becomes 71,41, whereas N-gain has an average 0,47 (b) Student�s result in control group from the pre-test to the post-test with the average from 43,90 becomes 63,53, whereas N-gain has an average 0,36. (c) Hypothesis examination of one way anova showed that study of I-SETS has an effect to the student�s result in experiment group. In this matter we can see based on the table of anova with the significant score = 0,003 more small than 0,05 (0,003 < 0,05) so Ho is denied dan Ha is accepted.
This study aims to find out: (1) Student learning activities in IPS (Social Sciences) learning on the application of scramble learning model using puppet hero media (Puppet Heroes), and (2) Improvement of IPS learning outcomes after application of learning model of scramble using media of wayang heroes. Data collection using observation and test, while for data analysis technique using the analysis technique of classical and individual completeness. From the research result, it can be concluded that: (1) learners are more active in IPS learning on the application of scramble learning model by using puppet hero media, students play an active role, motivated, cooperate with increasing concentration and speed of thinking during learning process in cycle I. the observation of teacher activity on the learning process conducted by observer I and observer II during social science learning process (IPS) in cycle I average aspects of teacher activity is 3.63 with very good criteria and the average aspects of the activities of learners that is 3.37 with good criteria, and (2) There is an increase in learning outcomes of IPS learners after the application of the model of learning scramble using the media of wayang heroes. This is indicated by the results of learning seen through the average scores of classes in the first cycle is 80.21 with the criteria achieved and meet the KKM 70, reaching the percentage of learning mastery learners classically that is 100%, with 85% classical completeness.
Mathematical problems are given to students to train themselves in their thinking skills and to find out the level of thinking that each student has. Mathematical problem solving is influenced by the level of students’ thinking ability. The purpose of this study was to analyze students’ high-order thinking skills in solving PISA-oriented math problems in terms of learning styles. This type of research is a mix method with a Concurrent Triangulation Strategy design. The population of all students of class X SMA Negeri 2 Surakarta samples in the study of several students in the population. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. Data collection techniques using interviews, documentation, and tests. The results of the study: 1) There was no difference in ability between students’ visual, auditory and kinesthetic learning styles in solving PISA-oriented math problems. 2) There are 23 students who have a visual learning style or 70% of the population. 30% of them are in the high category, 44% are in the medium category, and 26% are in the low category. 3) There are 8 students who have an auditory learning style or 24% of the population. 62.5% of them are in the medium category, and 37.5% are in the low category. 4) There are 2 students who have a kinesthetic learning style, the two students are one in the medium category and one in the low category. In general, each visual auditory and kinesthetic student has the ability to analyze, evaluate, and create as part of the higher order thinking component. However, each of them has a weakness in these abilities.
Problems in learning science (IPA) that occur to the students of SDN 5 Panarung Palangka Raya is the use of learning media that often done by the teacher but it has not been able to give the optimum results. It was signed by the students who can not follow the lesson well because they were tired, and do not have the braveness to argue or give a different idea according to the views and understanding that is in students themselves. This study is aimed to describe the skills of student teachers in implementing learning media based IT. The indicators to measure the achievement of the study conducted by using the principles of qualitative research. The results showed that the implementation of learning by students teacher in SD by using media based IT with the good category with an average score of 3.05. Students� activity during the learning with media based IT is categorized well on the activity of carrying out the assignment that given by teacher (29.5%). Learning by using learning media based IT can improve students� learning outcomes. It showed that the learning had been centered to the students.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran orang tua dalam mendampingi peserta didik pada saat pembelajaran dari dimasa pandemi covid 19. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif . Subjek penelitian ini adalah Guru kelas V, orang tua dan peserta didik kelas V di SD Islam Nurul Ihsan. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Prosedur analisis data menggunakan tahapan yang terdiri dari Pengumpulan Data, Reduksi Data, Penyajian Data, dan Penarikan Kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa orang tua peserta didik kelas V SD Islam Nurul Iiihsan Palangkaraya mengalami kesulitan dalam mendampingi peserta didik belajar dirumah pada masa pandemi covid-19 karena factor dalam dan factor luar. Faktor dalam yaitu 1) kurangnya pengetahuan dan pendidikan orang tua, 2) minimnya waktu yang dimiliki orang tua untuk mendampingi dan mengawasi peserta didik 3) kurangnya komunikasi antara orang tua dan peserta didik 4) orang tua kurang mampu memberikan motivasi sedangkan faktor dari luar yaitu factor guru, yakni 1) kurang maksimalnya penjelasan guru terhadap materi dan 2) tingkat ekonomi keluarga. Rekomendasi dari penelitian adalah adalah guru dan kepala Sekolah hendaknya membekali orang tua untuk mendampingi belajar anak di rumah melalui kegiatan pelatihan pendampingan pembelajaran Daring bagi orangtua.____________________________________________________________________This study aims to determine the role of parents in assisting students during learning from the covid 19 pandemic. The research method used in this study is a qualitative research method. The subjects of this study were fifth grade teachers, parents and fifth grade students at Nurul Ihsan Islamic Elementary School. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis procedure uses stages consisting of Data Collection, Data Reduction, Data Presentation, and Drawing Conclusions. The results showed that parents of fifth grade students at the Islamic Elementary School Nurul Iiihsan Palangkaraya had difficulties in assisting students to study at home during the COVID-19 pandemic due to internal and external factors. Internal factors are 1) lack of parental knowledge and education, 2) lack of time for parents to accompany and supervise students 3) lack of communication between parents and students 4) parents are less able to provide motivation while external factors are factors teachers, namely 1) the teacher's explanation of the material is less than optimal and 2) the economic level of the family. The recommendation from the research is that teachers and principals should equip parents to assist their children's learning at home through online learning mentoring training activities for parents.
