Motivasi belajar merupakan dorongan yang diberikan oleh seseorang untuk orang lain agar dapat mencapai tujuan yang ingin dicapai. Lemahnya motivasi belajar peserta didik dapat menurunkan hasil belajar peserta didik. Jadi dapat dikatakan bahwa motivasi belajar merupakan salah satu faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi hasil belajar peserta didik. Adapun tujuan dari dilakukan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik terhadap mata pelajaran fisika pada materi gerak lurus di SMA N 6 Muaro Jambi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah penelitian kuantitatif dan penelitian survey. Subjek dari penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas X IPA tahun ajaran 2019/2020 yang berjumlah 50 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu berupa kuisioner tentang motivasi serta soal pilihan ganda tentang materi gerak lurus. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini yaitu motivasi belajar peserta didik tergolong dalam kriteria tinggi atau baik dengan presentase 78%. Sedangkan hasil belajar pesera didik pada mata pelajaran fisika materi gerak lurus berada pada kategori cukup baik dengan presentasi 82%. Berdasarkan uji regresi yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang baik dan positif antara motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa di SMAN 6 Muaro Jambi.
The aim of this study was to describe the science process skills of grade VIII students of SMP (junior high school) Negeri 12 Muaro Jambi district by carrying out physics practicum activities on concave mirror material. The type of the research was descriptive quantitative. the sample used was 30 students of SMP (junior high school) Negeri 12 Muaro Jambi. The instrument used in this research was observation sheet that has been validated by the validator. The data were collected using a total sampling technique which was then analyzed using descriptive statistics. The indicators used were 6 indicators of basic science process skills, namely; observation, communication, classification, prediction, measuring, and concluding activities. The results showed that the students were good and skilled in observing, communicating, classifying, predicting, measuring, and concluding. The percentage results obtained were; observation indicators with average value of 22.7 (Good), communication indicators were 5.67 (Good), classification indicators were 3.03 (Good), predictive indicators were 2.76 (Good), measuring indicators was 8.63 (Good), and the concluded indicator was 16.67 (Good).
The aim of this study was to evaluate the extent of hard work of learning science at public high school (SMA Negeri) 1 Jambi City in the physics learning process. This study used a quantitative research design with a survey research type. The research sample data were 83 science students of class XI at SMAN 1 Jambi city. The instrument used by the researcher was a questionnaire containing 25 items about hard work. The data was obtained by distributing questionnaires to class XI science students at SMA Negeri 1 Jambi City, then the collected data would be processed and analyzed using the IBM SPSS Statistic 22.0 program. The results obtained indicate that the hard work of learning science students class XI SMA Negeri 1 Jambi City on the subject of Physics shows that student responses are more dominant in the good category with a percentage of 66.3% (55 of 83 students). The results of this study are expected to contribute to improving students' hard work in learning physics.
The purpose of this study was to describe the science process skills of the XI grade science students at public high school (SMAN 1) Muaro Jambi through the viscosity material physics practicum. The researcher used a descriptive research with a quantitative approach. This research was conducted in November 2020. The population in this study were all students of class XI IPA 2 at SMAN 1 Muaro Jambi, totaling 30 students and the data were collected using a total sampling technique. In this study, a research instrument was used in the form of an observation sheet of science process skills that had been validated by an expert validator, then the data from the scientific process skills obtained were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results of the research on students 'science process skills in viscosity practicum showed that the level of students' science process skills was at a very good level, students were able to do experiments skillfully and correctly where students were skilled in observing, classifying, communicating, measuring, and predicting, while in concluding skills fall into the good category. The percentage of very good categories is 46.7% observation skills, 43.3% classification skills, 33.3% communication skills, 33.3% measuring skills and 26.7% predictive skills, while 33.3% concluding skills are categorized as good..
Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kerja keras dan hasil belajar fisika di tingkat Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA). Penelitian yang dilaksanakan merupakan penelitian statistika deskriptif dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian adalah peserta didik di Sekolah Menengah Atas kelas XI MIPA 4, XI MIPA 5, dan XI MIPA 6. Pengambilan data menggunakan angket kerja keras dan angket soal pilihan ganda. Analisis data menggunakan bantuan SPSS untuk mengolah data. Uji yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah uji korelasi nonparametrik Kendall’s Tau hal ini karena data terdistribusi norma namun tidak terdistribusi linear. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer. Data primer adalah data asli yang dikumpulkan sendiri oleh peneliti untuk menjawab masalah yang sedang di teliti. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat dinyatakan bahwa siswa kela XI MIPA 4, XI MIPA 5 dan XI MIPA 6 tidak memiliki hubungan antara kerja keras dan hasil belajar fisika dimana dapat dibuktikan setelah uji korelasi diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,753 yang artinya lebih besar dari 0,05.
