This study aims to examine ICT competencies, research competencies, and teacher professionalism. The research method used is a mixed method.This study was conducted on urban and rural residents. The instruments used are teacher competency questionnaires, research competency questionnaires, questionnaires that measure teacher professionalism and interview instruments. Based on the results of data analysis, it is known that there is a relationship between teacher professionalism, ICT competence and research competence. This finding is that there is a relationship between ICT competence and research competence simultaneously on teacher professionalism. Purpose of the study: This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Think Pair Share cooperative learning model on atomic structure material and its effect on students' scientific attitudes of class X students at Senior High School 1. Methodology: This study included a quasi-experiment. The sample is determined by a simple random sampling technique. The research instrument was in the form of an observation sheet. The data were analyzed to see the effect of the implementation of the TPS model on students' scientific attitudes using a linear regression test and a significance test with a t-test. Main findings: The implementation of the PjBL model is categorized as good, in terms of teachers and students, with an average of 81.25% and 74.78 %, respectively. Students' scientific attitude is categorized as good, with an average of 73.97% for three meetings. The correlation test results between students' implementation of the TPS model and students' scientific attitudes were obtained r = 0.707. The results of the study proved that the implementation of the TPS-type cooperative learning model went well, and there was an influence between the implementation of the TPS-type cooperative learning model and the students' scientific attitude on atomic structure material for class X at Senior High School 1. Novelty/Originality of this study: The update in research is to complement previous research by proving that the TPS-type cooperative learning model affects students' scientific attitudes. Students' scientific attitude is essential to be developed in the current era of globalization.

Gender analysis in measurement materials: Critical thinking ability and science processing skills

This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship and difference between science process skills and students' critical thinking skills based on gender. This type of research is descriptive quantitative research. The instruments used observation sheets and essay test questions. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with samples of 90 students. The data analysis technique used by the researcher was descriptive statistics of Pearson Correlation and ANOVA tests. The results obtained were that the science process skills of students at SMPN 2 Batanghari were classified as good and dominated by female students with a percentage of 80.4%. Critical thinking skills were dominated by female students with a percentage of 32.6% (very critical). Then, there was a significant relationship between science process skills and students' critical thinking skills. Then, in the ANOVA test, male and female students' p-values of science process skills and critical thinking skills were less than 0.05. Therefore, there was a difference between the scientific process and the critical thinking skills of female and male students. This research is expected to contribute to schools and further research to improve learning methods that support critical thinking and science process skills.
