AbstrakTujuan penelitian penyusunan media pembelajaran berupa video yang layak untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan penguasaan konsep suksesi. Metode pengambilan video berlokasi di lereng Merapi yang sesuai dengan perkiraan perkembangan suksesi ekosistem. Pengujian kelayakan produk melibatkan beberapa ahli sedangkan pengujian kelas terdiri dari uji coba terbatas dan uji coba lapangan. Uji coba terbatas melibatkan 30 mahasiswa sedangkan uji coba lapangan melibatkan 30 mahasiswa kelas eksperimen dan 30 mahasiswa kelas kontrol. Penelitian pertama tentang kondisi perkuliahan, penelitian kedua tentang pengujian produk. Hasil uji produk, mendapatkan penilaian minimal "Baik". Uji coba terbatas, hasilnya "Sangat Baik". Pada uji coba lapangan, produk diuji penggunaannya pada peningkatan motivasi belajar dan penguasaan konsep, serta uji beda terhadap kelas kontrol. Hasil uji kelayakan mendapatkan penilaian "Baik" dan analisis gain score kedua variabel, mendapatkan hasil lebih tinggi untuk kelas eksperimen. Hasil uji beda menandakan adanya perbedaan antara kedua kelas, artinya media pembelajaran berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan penguasaan konsep.Kata Kunci: foto, video, perbandingan, suksesi ekosistem, gunung Merapi, motivasi belajar, penguasaan konsep. Study on e-learning implementation has been growing as a great interest particularly in biology education research and practice. Whilst a number of research has shown various modes of e-learning, however, there is still a lack of understanding on how e-learning can be applied for health literacy orientation in biology instruction. This research aimed to develop a conceptual framework of SSI-based e-learning in biology to promote student health literacy. This research was conducted in narrative inquiry design. Nine people including five biology teachers, two experts in health education and two science teachers who are practitioners in e-learning implementation were voluntarily participated in this research. Data of this research are experiences, knowledge, or perspectives that were expressed by participants and were collected through semi-structured interviews. Thematic analysis approach was employed to analyse the data in three stages with trustworthiness and authenticity were applied for quality standard. Research findings show that there are three main aspects that need to be considered in developing an intended framework. These are: 1) e-learning platform could be used, 2) SSI-based learning pathways arranged in e-learning mode, and 3) additional e-learning elements need to be provided. Hence, these three aspects play essential roles in underpinning the framework of SSI-based e-learning in biology to promote student health literacy.
Bahan ajar merupakan komponen penting dalam proses pembelajaran. Salah satu persoalan biologi terkait sistem organ yang diajarkan di SMA adalah sistem pencernaan. Agar siswa lebih mudah dalam memahami konsep pada sistem pencernaan maka disusun booklet sistem pencernaan yang lebih fokus dan detail pada materi tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan booklet pada topik sistem pencernaan. Pengembangan booklet ini disusun dengan mengikuti model pengembangan 4D dengan tahapan define (pendefinisian)-proses pemilihan konsep dasar dan penyusunan konsep, design (perancangan)-pemilihan bahan ajar berupa booklet dan penyusunannya, dan develop (pengembangan)-penilaian dari ahli media dan ahli materi serta uji keterbacaan. Dilanjutkan dengan analisis hasil penilaian para ahli lalu merevisi produk sesuai dengan masukan dari para ahli. Tahap terakhir, yaitu disseminate (penyebaran) yang dilakukan dengan pengajuan ISBN ke perpusnas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penilaian ahli media meliputi ukuran booklet yang masuk kategori sangat baik serta desain sampul dan desain isi yang masuk dalam kategori baik. Penilaian ahli materi meliputi kelayakan isi, kelayakan penyajian, dan kebahasaan yang ketiganya masuk dalam kategori baik. Booklet ini sudah layak digunakan karena minimal kategori pada analisis penilaian instrumen yang didapat adalah baik walaupun masih perlu sedikit perbaikan sesuai dengan saran dari ahli. Teaching material is an important component in the learning process. One of the biological problems related to organ systems taught in high school is the digestive system. In order for the students to understand the concepts in the digestive system, the booklet of digestive system was arranged to be more focused and detailed on the material. This research aimed to develop the booklet on the topic of the digestive system. In this research, the booklet was compiled using the 4D model, through the process of definie- the process of selecting the basic concept and drafting the concept, design-the selection of teaching materials in the form of booklet and its compilation, develop-the assessment from media expert and material expert along with readability test, the results of the assessment were used to revise the product, and disseminate, done by submitting the ISBN to the National Library of Indonesia. The results showed that the media expert's assessment included the size of the booklet was in the very good category and the cover design and content design were in the good category. The material expert's assessment included the content feasibility, presentation feasibility, and language, all of which were in the good category. The booklet was suitable for use because of the minimal category of the instrument analysis obtained were good, although it still needs a little improvement according to the advice of experts.
Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) mengembangkan produk aplikasi LKPD Mobile Learning berbasis Guided Discovery yang layak sebagai bahan ajar dan (2) mengetahui keefektifan penggunaannya terhadap peningkatan penguasaan kompetensi dasar (KD) peserta didik pada pokok bahasan ekosistem dalam kurikulum 2013. Penelitian pengembangan ini merupakan Design and Development Research (D & D R) menurut Ellis dan Levy. Subjek coba penelitian sebanyak 126 peserta didik kelas X dari SMA N 1 Sentolo dan SMA N 1 Temon Kabupaten Kulon Progo. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan instrumen validasi ahli, instrumen tes pengukuran kompetensi pengetahuan, dan lembar observasi penguasaan kompetensi keterampilan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) aplikasi LKPD Mobile Learning berbasis Guided Discovery pada pokok bahasan Ekosistem ditinjau dari penilaian pada aspek kelayakan materi, tampilan, bahasa, dan kehandalan termasuk dalam kategori baik, dan (2) penerapan LKPD Mobile Learning berbasis Guided Discovery pada pokok bahasan Ekosistem dalam proses pembelajaran secara signifikan mampu meningkatkan penguasaan kompetensi dasar peserta didik. Developing guided discovery mobile learning worksheet to improve student’s mastery of basic competence in Curriculum 2013 AbstractThe aims of this research were (1) to produce Guided Discovery mobile learning worksheet on Ecosystem subject matter, (2) to know the effectiveness on student’s Mastery of Basic Competence in Curriculum 2013. This research is Design and Development Research (D & D R) according to Ellis and Levy. Product as the result of this development research was tested to subject of this research, 126 ten grade students of SMA N 1 Sentolo and SMA N 1 Temon, Kulon Progo. Data were collected through validation instrument set, basic competence instrument test, and observation sheet to assest process skill competence. The result of this recearch showed that (1) Guided Discovery mobile learning worksheet on Ecosystem subject matter was appropriate for students based on the contain, interface, language, and reliability and got good catergory rating, and (2) was effective and significant to improve student’s mastery of Basic Competence in Curriculum 2013.
Jumlah penduduk perkotaan yang terus meningkat memberikan dampak tingginya tekanan terhadap pemanfaatan ruangkota, terutama ruang terbuka hijau sebagai ruang terbuka publik yang berpotensi menjadi ruang permukiman. Meningkatnya pembangunan akan mengurangi ruang terbuka hijau yang ada. Pondok Pesantren Wahid Hasyim Yogyakarta merupakan salah satu pondok pesantren yang ada di pusat kota Yogyakarta yang memiliki lembaga pendidikan dari TK, MTs, MA, dan SMA. Pembangunan disanaterus meningkat seiring dengan meningkatnya siswa yang ada. Oleh karena itu, ruang terbuka hijau menjadi semakin berkurang.Vertical Garden adalah sebuah solusi permasalahan degradasi ruang terbuka hijau di Pondok Pesantren Wahid Hasyim yang menggunakan pendekatan keruangan dengan memaksimalkan lahan kota yang sempit. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kombinasi penelitian lapangan dan analisis data sekunder.Verical Garden merupakan konsep taman tegak yang menjadikan ruang tanam lebih besar dibanding taman konvensional, sehingga dapat menambah ruang terbuka hijau di Pondok Pesantren Wahid Hasyim Yogyakarta.
