Algae-silica (AS) hybrid material from biomass Porphyridium sp. has been modified by coating Fe 3 O 4 particles (MPs) via a sol-gel process using tetraethyl orthosilicate to produce algae-silica-Fe 3 O 4 (AS-MPs). The AS-MPs produced were applied as adsorbent for the adsorption of methylene blue (MB). Identification of functional groups was performed by infrared spectrometer indicating that in AS-MPs there were active organic groups derived from Porphyridium sp., silanol and siloxane. Diffraction pattern of the AS-MP material analyzed by X-ray diffraction showed that the material showed that the average particle size distribution of the AS-MP material was 1.40 µm. In addition to the results of the analysis using scanning electron microscopy, material of AS-MPs has a more heterogeneous surface morphology. The models of MB adsorption by AS and AS-MP tend to follow the pseudo-second-order kinetic model and Freundlich adsorption isotherm. The adsorption of MB solution by AS-MP produces rate constants (k 2 ) of 0.003 g mg -1 min and adsorption capacity (q m ) of 96.927 mg g -1 under the experimental conditions of dose of adsorbent of 2.5 mg L -1 , interaction pH of this study can be used as an effective adsorbent because it can remove MB dyestuff in solution, it is chemically stable in acidic and neutral media, and it can be used repeatedly.
a b s t r a c tModification of algae-silica (AS) hybrid material from Tetraselmis sp. biomass (AS) was performed through a sol-gel simultaneous process and coated with Fe 3 O 4 magnetite nanoparticles (MNPs). Algae-silica hybrid material from Tetraselmis sp. biomass-coated MNPs (AS-MNPs) were used as adsorbents of heavy metal ions. The adsorption processes of Ni(II), Cu(II), and Zn(II) ions with AS and algae-silica-magnetite nanoparticles (AS-MNPs) fit pseudo-second-order kinetic models. The rate constant and adsorption capacity of Ni(II), Cu(II), and Zn(II) ions for AS-MNPs obtained from these experiments were higher than those of AS. AS-MNPs material is an effective adsorbent and can be used to absorb heavy metal ions in solution.
Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja perusahaan adalah keberadaan supplier, sehingga pemilihan supplier yang tepat bagi perusahaan merupakan salah satu pengambilan keputusan yang sangat penting yang perlu dilakukan oleh setiap perusahaan yang melibatkan supplier dalam kegiatan bisnisnya. Salah satunya adalah pada PT. Buana Artha Indopratama Jakarta yaitu perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang ritel seperti alat rumah tangga dan botol kosmetik. Pemilihan supplier saat ini dilakukan masih subyektif Permasalahan yang pernah terjadi adalah supplier yang dipilih melakukan keterlambatan dalam pengiriman barang serta kualitas barang yang dikirim terkadang tidak sesuai yang mengakibatkan PT. Buana Artha Indopratama mengalami kerugian dan menimbulkan citra yang kurang baik dimata pelanggan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari kriteria-kriteria yang mempengaruhi pemilihan supplier dan menentukan supplier terbaik bagi PT. Buana Artha Indopratama Jakarta dengan menggunakan metode Analytical Hierarchy Process. Hasil pengolahan data dengan 5 alternatif yang memiliki prioritas tertinggi adalah Zhongshan Yijianxing dengan bobot prioritas 0,339 dan Kriteria yang memiliki prioritas tertinggi adalah kriteria kualitas dengan bobot 0,360.
Kesadaran menjaga lingkungan sekitar merupakan salah satu karakter yang harus ditanamkan kepada anak sejak dini. Salah satu usaha yang dapat dilakukan dengan melaksanakan Program Adiwiyata di sekolah. Program Adiwiyata merupakan salah satu program yang mengajarkan siswa untuk peduli dan sadar akan pentingnya menjaga lingkungan. Berdasarkan pemaparan di atas, lebih lanjut tertarik untuk melakukan pengabdian masyarakat berupa implementasi program Adiwiyata di sekolah. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa mengenai lingkungan di MIM Potronayan 2. Pengabdian masyarakat ini menggunakan metode pendidikan masyarakat yang difokuskan pada warga sekolah terutama para siswa di MIM Potronayan 2. Hasil pengabdian masyarakat ini menunjukkan bahwa implementasi Adiwiyata di MIM Potronayan 2 menunjukkan perubahan yang cukup signifikan. Siswa yang awalnya kurang paham mengenai pentingnya menjaga lingkungan sekitar menjadi lebih tahu dan menyadari betapa pentingnya menjaga lingkungan sekitar mereka. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari antusias para siswa dalam menjaga tanaman yang telah mereka tanam dan juga kesadaran mereka untuk membuang sampah pada tempatnya. Oleh karena itu, program Adiwiyata merupakan salah satu program yang sangat baik untuk dilaksanakan di sekolah sebagai salah satu usaha penanaman karakter cinta lingkungan sejak dini.
Bakery is a place frequented by people as a place to buy bread to be given as a gift or food. The number of bakeries that are open in Pematangsiantar city makes consumers confused and need accurate information to decide to visit a bakery that suits their needs. Moreover, every bakery provides and offers their best products to consumers. The method used in decision making is the SMART method (Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique) because SMART is a method in making multi-attribute decisions. This system can provide recommendations for bakeries that are in accordance with the expectations of consumers to be considered in choosing the right bakery, especially in pematangsiantar city where there are 5 bakeries namely: Double (A1), Aroma (A2), Francebakery (A3), Valetine ( A4) and My darling (A5). In this study there are 5 criteria that support the research objectives, namely: service (C1), texture (C2), taste (C3), price (C4) and location (C5). The research data was obtained by interviewing and giving questionnaires / questionnaires to 250 consumers. The results of the questionnaire were processed and calculated using the SMART method. Based on the results of the study, it is obtained double (A1) first rank with the final value of 0.8835, francebakery (A3) second rank with the final value of 0.5530 and my dear (A5) ranked third with the final value of 0.45. It is hoped that this research can provide input to consumers in recommending and choosing the best bakery in Pematangsiantar.
