Tulisan ini merupakan pembacaan terhadap buku The Sociology of Literature yang ditulis oleh Alan Swingewood dan sejarah singkat pemikiran-pemikiran yang mempengaruhinya. Pandangan bahwa karya sastra adalah dokumen sosiobudaya diformulasikan oleh Swingewood ke dalam suatu kerangka pemikiran yang dapat dipahami secara runut dan terperinci.
Early marriage is defined as a marriage of women aged <18 years old. The current world prevalence is declining, but when compared with the growth in population, the total number of married children tends to increase. Today, early marriage reaches 41.000 every day, especially in Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia. This research aims to identify the social determinants of health that encourage early marriage. This research used a quantitative observational analytic study with cross-sectional design. The number of <18 year-old married women were 1.96% (IFLS5), <18 year-old married men were 0.15% (IFLS5). The average age at first birth was 22.96 years old. The economic status of early marriage was mostly in Quintile 1, and the majority of residences were in rural area. The ratio of married women and men aged <18 years old was 11-14: 1. Employment, education, residence and poverty were associated with early marriage and were statistically significant.
Kesadaran menjaga lingkungan sekitar merupakan salah satu karakter yang harus ditanamkan kepada anak sejak dini. Salah satu usaha yang dapat dilakukan dengan melaksanakan Program Adiwiyata di sekolah. Program Adiwiyata merupakan salah satu program yang mengajarkan siswa untuk peduli dan sadar akan pentingnya menjaga lingkungan. Berdasarkan pemaparan di atas, lebih lanjut tertarik untuk melakukan pengabdian masyarakat berupa implementasi program Adiwiyata di sekolah. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa mengenai lingkungan di MIM Potronayan 2. Pengabdian masyarakat ini menggunakan metode pendidikan masyarakat yang difokuskan pada warga sekolah terutama para siswa di MIM Potronayan 2. Hasil pengabdian masyarakat ini menunjukkan bahwa implementasi Adiwiyata di MIM Potronayan 2 menunjukkan perubahan yang cukup signifikan. Siswa yang awalnya kurang paham mengenai pentingnya menjaga lingkungan sekitar menjadi lebih tahu dan menyadari betapa pentingnya menjaga lingkungan sekitar mereka. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari antusias para siswa dalam menjaga tanaman yang telah mereka tanam dan juga kesadaran mereka untuk membuang sampah pada tempatnya. Oleh karena itu, program Adiwiyata merupakan salah satu program yang sangat baik untuk dilaksanakan di sekolah sebagai salah satu usaha penanaman karakter cinta lingkungan sejak dini.
Information about company value and intellectual capital is important information to be known by investors. This research aimed to find out the influence of intellectual capital against the value of the company's of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia stock exchange year 2014 – 2017. This type of research is quantitative research. This population includes all manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia stock exchange and obtained samples of as many as 17 companies. Based on the results of research, partially Value Added Capital Employed (VACA) and Value Added Intellectual Coefficient (VAIC) have an effect on company value (Tobin's Q). Value Added Human Capital (VAHU) and Value Added Structural Capital (STVA) have no effect on company value (Tobin's Q). Based on the suitability test of Value Added Capital Employed (VACA) models, Value Added Human Capital (VAHU), Value Added Structural Capital (STVA), and Intellectual Capital were proxied by Value Added Intellectual Coefficient (VAIC) simultaneously has an effect on Company Value (Tobin's Q). From the result of this research, investors in order to make intellectual capital as a consideration before making investment decisions because better company value will show better growth prospects so as to provide prosperity for investors and shareholders.
Abstract. There is still a debate on film and literature relationship. Some argued that films and videos were in the opposite site of language activities, that is, films and videos tried to present the concrete, particular, and sensational forms of life. While others argued that films might be the objects of literary researches. This article aims at exploring the relationship of films and literature and uncovering the position of films as the object of research of literature students. Films and literatue’s relationship cannot be separated from the activity of adapting literary work into movie, or ecranisation. Ecranisation theory bridges the relationship of film and literature and make a film suitable object of a literary research. Yet, there are some who argue that a film which is not the product of ecranisation can become the object of a literary research under the umbrella of culture study, that everything may undergo a redefinition.
