Objective: The purpose of this study to know affectivity of RTS (Revised Trauma Score) and GAP (GCS, Age, Blood Systolic Pressure) to predict mortality patients of head injury at Emergency Ward in Ulin Hospita Banjarmasin Method: The methods in the study were cross-sectional. The data were taken from a medical record from 1 January -31 March 2016. Data collected based on the results of trauma scoring. Outcomes (died and life) recorded in the first 24 hours since the patient has entered the hospital. The data were analyzed by using chi-square test. Results : 109 patients of head injury came to the emergency room of Ulin Hospital Banjarmasin approximately 36, 5 years old and 11 patients were died (10%). Prediction mortality with scoring RTS p = 0.000, OR = 2.390, probabilities = 70.5% (95 % CI = 1.893 -3.019). While a prediction with scoring GAP p = 0.000, OR = 41.550, probability = 97.6% (95 % CI = 5.589 -308.876). Conclusion: Scoring GAP was more effective than RTS to predict mortality patients of a head injury in the emergency ward within 24 hours with probabilities about 97.6% compared to the RTS that had a about 70.5 % probability.
Objective: Knowing the influence of family support to patients' anxiety of chronic renal failure with experience of hemodialysis at the hemodialysis unit of UlinHospital Banjarmasin. Method: The research method was descriptive correlative with cross sectional approach. Data sampling in the study conducted by purposive sampling as many as 75patients. The data collection was done by using questionnaire and analyzed by using Chi Square on the degree of confidence (0,05) 95%. Results: Respondents had negative support from the family of 40 people (53,3%). Respondents experience of severe anxiety that were 41 (54,7%). There was influence of family support to patients' anxiety of chronic renal failure with experience of hemodialysis at the hemodialysis unit of UlinHospital Banjarmasin(p = 0,000< α = 0,05). Conclusion: Conclusion of this research showed that There was influence of family support to patients' anxiety of chronic renal failure with experience of hemodialysis at the hemodialysis unit of UlinHospital Banjarmasin (p = 0,000 < α = 0,05).
Indonesia merupakan negara yang memiliki kekayaan sumber daya alam yang sangat beranekargam, salah satunya adalah keanekaragaman hayati. Salah satu provinsi yang memiliki keanekaragaman hayati yang cukup tinggi adalah di Kalimantan Selatan. Salah satu keanekaragaman hayati yang dimiliki oleh Kalimantan Selatan adalah tumbuhan obat yang berasal dari berbagai daerah, salah satunya adalah tumbuhan kelakai (Stenochlaena palustris). Kelakai merupakan tanaman khas lahan basah (rawa) di Kalimantan Selatan dan ditemukan zat bioaktif utama yaitu quercetin flavonoid yang memiliki efek antiinflamasi. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk membentuk dan menghasilkan mahasiswa wirausaha baru mandiri dengan program Ipteks bagi Kewirausahaan. Metode yang digunakan pada kegiatan ini meliputi; proses rekrutmen tenant, sosialisasi program, pelatihan kewirausahaan, magang, pendampingan, wirausaha baru mandiri. Diperoleh mahasiswa yang siap untuk menjadi wirausaha baru mandiri yang akan menjalankan wirausaha bidang minuman yaitu teh fermentasi dari tanaman kelakai. Setelah menjalankan kegiatan pelatihan dan magang, mahasiswa siap menjadi tenant baru dengan program yaitu memproduksi teh fermentasi dari kelakai untuk dipasarkan ke lingkungan kampus dan juga ke masyarakat luas melalui media sosial dan aplikasi berbasis web dan android (ibksarimulia). Program ini membentuk mahasiswa memiliki jiwa wirausaha dan mampu menjalankan usaha dengan baik di bidang minuman teh fermentasi dari kelakai.
Objective: Extravasation is an effect of a highly unexpected chemotherapy drug administration, because it will cost patients a long time of care, cost, pain and also body image disturbance. The signs of extravasation should also be very recognizable. Extravasation can also cause permanent skin damage. The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is a role of NaCl Compress Provision Against Extravasation Prevention In Chemotherapy Patients In Edelweis Room Ulin Hospital Banjarmasin. Method: This research is Descriptive. The sample consisted of 46 respondents in the patients using Purposive sampling technique in accordance with inclusion and excretion kretiria. Data were collected using an observation sheet. The data are then analyzed using the results of the percentage observation sheet. Result:The results showed the giving of NaCl compress to extravasation prevention on 46 respondents was very good. Judging from the percentage that 100% of patients who performed compress NaCl not seen signs of extravasation. NaCl compresses are proven to prevent extravasation. This is evident from the absence of signs of extravasation in patients undergoing chemotherapy, meaning that the administration of NaCl compresses is very well done in patients undergoing Chemotherapy in Edelweiss Room of Ulin Banjarmasin Hospital. Conclusion: The giving of NaCl compress is very good in the prevention of immediate extravasation at Ulin Hospital Banjarmasin.
