This research was conducted in RA Babul Jannah Bengkulu City. This study conducted a qualitative descriptive study. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The purpose of this study is to develop science for early childhood by using herbarium media at 5-6 years old in RA Babul Jannah Bengkulu City. Based on the results of this study it can be concluded that early childhood science through herbarium media in RA Babul Jannah Bengkulu City increased, with categories starting to develop (MB) there were 3 children with a percentage rate of 25%, the category developed according to expectations (BSH) there were 3 children with a percentage rate of 25%, including the category of developing very well (BSB) there are 9 children with a percentage rate of 50%.
Indonesia pada saat ini telah diresahkan oleh masuknya virus Corona (Covid-19). Virus corona merupakan keluarga besar virus yang menyebabkan infeksi saluran pernapasan. Sehingga, pemerintah mengambil kebijakan untuk memutus mata rantai penyebaran melalui kegiatan belajar dirumah. Namun, bukan hanya pembelajaran saja yang menjadi kekhawatiran orang tua. Asupan gizi dan pengelolaan makanan yang sehat bagi anak menjadi permasalahan yang timbul akibat pergerakan yang dibatasi. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan adalah membantu orang tua dalam menemukan ide-ide baru sebagai referensi untuk menciptakan menu-menu makanan yang variatif dan bergizi tentunya serta berbagai trik lainnya dalam memberikan makanan kepada anak-anak untuk meningkatkan imunitas tubuh di masa pandemi.
Early childhood Education Programs (PAUD) learning is currently starting to develop and diversify. Looking at the needs and curriculum nowadays we know that many PAUD schools have used K13 in their learning. The K13 PAUD learning strategy usually leads to a scientific approach. So, it needs to be designed in such a way as a learning strategy that implements supporting models in learning. The purpose of this reserach is to produce an effective development product in the form of a project-based Science Creative Learning (SCL) model as a learning proponent of PAUD students at Dehasen University Bengkulu. The research methode used in this research was Research and Development (R&D) then proceed with the effectiveness test in the classroom by quasi experiment. The results of the research are obtained a textbook which is a product of the development model of the project-based Science Creative Learning (SCL) that can be used as a learning proponent for students of PAUD UNIVED BENGKULU. The textbook has been revised and validated by experts. The effectiveness of the use of textbooks in learning can be seen from the differences in learning outcomes of students of PAUD DEHASEN BENGKULU UNIVERSITY who use textbooks (experimental groups) with those who do not use textbooks (control groups). For the experimental group the lowest score was 67 and the highest was 100. Whereas for the control group the lowest score was 58 and the highest was 83.
The purpose of this study was to determine children's cognitive development through the congklak game method in PAUD Pitra Pertiwi, Lubuk Sandi District, Seluma Regency. This classroom action research uses the Jhon Elliot model, where each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The results of the research obtained show that the application of playing congklak can improve the cognitive development of children aged 5-6 years in PAUD Putra Pertiwi, Lubuk Sandi District, Seluma Regency. This increase occurs because, at each stage of the meeting, improvements are made, so that children get used to learning activities using congklak media. The cognitive development of children by counting through congklak media in PAUD Putra Pertiwi Seluma Regency reaches 96% with the criteria developing according to expectations (BSH).
