Palavras-chave: gestão de pessoas-psicologia organizacional e do trabalho-atuação proissional do psicólogo-gestão estratégica. This paper aims at discussing the practices of organizational psychologist, exploring whether, and to what extent, the Brazilian scientiic literature addresses the performance of this professional from a strategic perspective, thereby nearing psychology and the practices of people management in work organizations. In order to do so, we searched for publications in databases under certain keywords, or descriptors. Data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively, seeking to articulate the results obtained in the studies evaluated with classical publications on development trajectory and current characteristics of Organizational and Occupational Psychology. We identiied shortage of papers on strategic performance in people management, as well as recent interest on the subject. We argue that the professional becomes a transformational agent when operational procedures are not the only ones to be used. Nevertheless, the article discusses factors that show that strategic action still represents a major challenge to organizational and occupational psychologists.
This study aims to describe the findings of the application of an Entrepreneurial Potential scale in 37 students of the second semester of Psychology at a Brazilian university called Universidade Católica Dom Bosco in Campo Grande/MS. The results were obtained from the application of the scale developed by Santos (2008), and the analysis was quantitative. It also presents an proposal of intervention that may impact on teaching and learning about entrepreneurship, using technology and ludic games as a way to bring the current reality and the interests of the academics closer to the study of the theme in question, in the development of characteristics that belong to the potential entrepreneur. The results show that psychology students have big gaps in their potential entrepreneur, especially in “planning”, “control” and “goals” skills. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is a need to improve these skills. It is recommended to incorporate the theme in health teaching and research, as the use of ludic games as a tool to optimize entrepreneurial potential in building a core of studies on entrepreneurship and career management, with the purpose of maintaining the orientation of academics.
