RESUMOObjetivo: O presente trabalho teve como objetivo principal analisar o conceito de saúde sob a perspectiva de um grupo de usuários do SUS moradores de um município de pequeno porte situado no sul de Minas Gerais, em uma conferência municipal de saúde. Materiais e métodos: Tratou-se de um recorte da dissertação intitulada “Cotidiano e saúde(s): estudo etnográfico dos usuários do SUS em um município do Sul de Minas” aprovado pelo comitê de ética em pesquisas da Faculdade de Medicina de Itajubá (FMIT), sob parecer 618.702. O estudo foi transversal de pesquisa qualitativa etnográfica, com levantamento de dados realizado por meio de observação participante. Resultados e discussão: Ao refletir sobre as necessidades em saúde, o grupo demonstrou a pluralidade de situações que envolvem o conceito de saúde relacionando-o a questões como a necessidade de atividades físicas regulares, a necessidade de água tratada, os riscos da ingestão de alimentos contaminados, a necessidade da coleta de lixo acumulado nos bairros rurais, a inclusão de terapias alternativas (homeopatia e acupuntura) nos serviços de saúde, entre outros. Conclusão: As propostas finais aprovadas na Conferência Municipal de Saúde demonstram a necessidade em ampliar os modos de lidar com métodos centrados em produção de dados ligados às doenças, visto a pluralidade de maneiras de lidar com o conceito de saúde(s). Apontam para necessidade do setor público de saúde planejar suas ações baseadas nas necessidades da comunidade e atuar em conjunto com outros setores, como o de infraestrutura urbana e rural, transporte, meio ambiente, educação, entre outros.Palavras chave: Conferências de saúde, Sistema Único de Saúde, Formação de conceito. ABSTRACTObjective: This study aimed to analyze the concept of health from the perspective of a group of public health system (SUS) users who live in a small city in southern Minas Gerais, in a local health conference. Materials and methods: This was a clipping of the dissertation entitled "Daily life and health: ethnographic study of SUS users in a southern city of Minas" approved by the ethics in research committee of the Medicine School of Itajubá (FMIT), under report 618,702. The study was a cross ethnographic qualitative research, with data collection conducted through participant observation. Results and discussion: When thinking over health needs, the group demonstrated the plurality of situations involving the concept of health relating it to issues such as the need for regular physical activity, the need for clean water, the risks of contaminated food intake, the need of accumulated garbage collection in rural districts, the inclusion of alternative therapies (homeopathy and acupuncture) in health services, among others. Conclusion: The final proposals approved at the Municipal Health Conference demonstrate the need to broaden the ways of dealing with methods focusing on data production linked to disease, considering the plurality of ways to deal with the concept of health. It points to the need for the public health sector to plan their actions based on community needs and work together with other sectors, such as urban and rural infrastructure, transport, environment and education among others. Introdução a Constituição Federal de 1988 garante a todo cidadão brasileiro o direito à saúde. o conceito de saúde, porém, vem ao longo do tempo recebendo diversas denominações. para Cruz (2011) a saúde, a doença e o cuidado são fenômenos sociais, sendo influenciados pelo tempo, locais e culturas, permitindo afirmar que a organização e as ações de saúde juntamente com as redes de apoio social, precisam de planejamento e gestão voltados à necessidade de cada comunidade em particular. por isso, através do reconhecimento do modo de vida de seus usuários, suas relações com o sistema e com os profissionais da área, torna-se possível propor estratégias que facilitem a discussão e a troca de saberes entre as partes e permitam a implantação da Política Nacional de Humanização (PNH). 2. Objetivos: -Conhecer as concepções e o cotidiano de saúde dos usuários do SUS afim de identificar estratégias que facilitem a implantação da PNH no serviços do município em estudo. 3. Métodos: o levantamento de dados foi realizado por meio dos seguintes instrumentos: a) pesquisa etnográfica, b) entrevista aberta e gravada, c) observação participante nas unidades de saúde e análise documental (ANGROSINO, 2009). o diário de campo foi utilizado como forma de registro da observação participante. o presente projeto encontra-se em andamento. 4. Resultados o município estudado possui menos de três mil habitantes, zona rural extensa, duas unidades básicas de saúde no centro da cidade, sem hospital. Percebe-se a precariedade de redes de comunicação entre os sujeitos e dificuldade de acesso dos profissionais em cursos de educação permanente ligados a PNH. Percebe-se grande demanda de práticas assistenciais curativas como "garantia" da saúde populacional. 5. Conclusões: como afirma Magnani (2002), a etnografia não se caracteriza pela busca incessante por detalhes, mas pela atenção que lhes é dada, em certo momento, quando uma nova configuração dos fragmentos num todo aponta a pista para uma nova forma de entendimento. Nota-se, desta forma, a importância do fortalecimento das ações de humanização para que a inclusão dos diferentes sujeitos envolvidos no sistema permita o planejamento, a implantação e a avaliação das maneiras de promover saúde. 6. Este artigo visa tratar do tema da saúde de detentos, levando-se em consideração os indivíduos do sexo masculino de uma Associação de Proteção e Assistência aos Condenados (APAC) situada no Sul de Minas Gerais. A APAC surge como alternativa de parceria entre o público e o privado, a qual se baseia em uma metodologia de recuperação diferenciada. A saúde passa a ser elemento preponderante para se pensar os distintos processos de recuperação do detento, o que torna relevante perguntar: qual a estrutura e as práticas de saúde propostas atualmente pela APAC para atender aos recuperandos? Dentro desse questionamento objetiva-se conhecer as práticas de assistência à saúde prestada aos recuperandos da unidade proposta. Realizou-se levantamento de dados por meio de revisão bibliográfica, análise documental e entrevista semiestruturada gravada com um gestor da unidade. Os serviços ofertados atualmente na unidade APAC estudada demonstram que diferente das penitenciárias tradicionais, a assistência à saúde é contemplada de forma mais ampla, com atividades de lazer, trabalho, atividades físicas e acesso à cultura. Ainda existe a necessidade da realização de trabalhos de conscientização e prevenção de doenças específicas.
