Objetivo: Compreender as repercussões da Lúpus Eritematoso Sistêmico (LES) em gestantes. Revisão bibliográfica: O LES é mais acometido no sexo feminino ocorrendo em fase reprodutiva na faixa etária de 20 a 45 anos. As pacientes portadoras de LES durante período gestacional, são consideradas de alto risco pelo fato de haver um quadro com uma maior incidência de complicações tanto para a gestante e também para o feto como: parto prematuro, exacerbação da atividade da doença, retardo do crescimento intrauterino, pré-eclâmpsia e perda fetal. Com relação à gravidez, em torno de 50% das gestações em mulheres com lúpus não apresentam alteração ou comprometimento na gravidez sendo normais, e 25% geram bebês que nascem com complicações por ser prematuros e o restante, correspondem, ao aborto espontâneo ou morte do bebê. Considerações finais: A LES apresenta uma gama de sinais e sintomas nas gestantes alterando as atividades fisiológicas da mulher. Assim, trata-se de uma doença que não tem cura, mas apenas controle e prevenção durante o período da gestação, no início da gestação e pós gestação. Para reduzir tal morbimortalidade materna-fetal recomenda-se um acompanhamento de uma equipe multidisciplinar preconcepção.
Objetivo: Avaliar as diferenças sexuais na resposta imunológica a COVID-19 relacionadas a influência hormonal. Métodos: Foi realizada uma pesquisa bibliográfica, de caráter exploratório, do tipo revisão integrativa de literatura. A busca dos artigos foi realizada nas bases eletrônicas de dados PubMed, Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde (BVS) e Scientific Electronic Libray Online (SciELO) no período de fevereiro a maio de 2021. Foram incluídos artigos originais, publicados entre 2020 e 2021 e redigidos em português, inglês ou espanhol. Excluíram-se qualquer publicação que não fosse artigo científico original, completo e que se distanciou da discussão. Resultados: O estrogênio diminui a expressão do receptor da enzima conversora da angiotensina 2 (ECA2), enquanto a testosterona aumenta a expressão em células do músculo liso das vias aéreas. Os andrógenos regulam a expressão dos receptores de ECA2, superfície celular transmembrana protease serina 2 (TMPRSS2) e receptor de andrógeno (RA) em células epiteliais pulmonares. As concentrações de testosterona são inversamente associadas à gravidade da doença e concentrações de citocinas inflamatórias circulantes em homens. Considerações finais: Os hormônios sexuais atuam na resposta imunológica tendo grande influência na disparidade sexual existente na vulnerabilidade e mortalidade da COVID-19, sendo que hormônios sexuais femininos atuam como fator protetivo contra infecção por SARS-CoV-2.
Objetivo: Elucidar as repercussões fisiológicas e emocionais das mulheres que vivenciam o climatério. Métodos: Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa da literatura na base de dados BVS, com artigos produzidos dentro de um período de 5 anos, compreendido entre 2015 e 2020. Resultados: Foram encontrados 16 artigos que atenderam aos critérios propostos. Os artigos demonstraram problemáticas como: ansiedade, alterações do sono, alterações da libido, cansaço, fogacho e alterações no sistema cardiovascular, geralmente acompanhada de Hipertensão Arterial Sistêmica e outras comorbidades importantes como o sobrepeso. Os artigos também ressaltam o despreparo das equipes de saúde frente a mulheres climatéricas e a baixa adesão ao Tratamento de Reposição Hormonal. É também ressaltado o baixo conhecimento das mulheres acerca do climatério. Considerações finais: O climatério precisa ser reconhecido como uma fase de importância na vida da mulher e não só pela sintomatologia clínica, devendo os profissionais ajudarem a promover um envelhecimento mais ativo e saudável.
Objetivo: Compreender os cuidados paliativos em pacientes oncológicos acometidos pelo Covid-19. Revisão bibliográfica: O câncer é o crescimento desordenado maligno de células que invadem os tecidos e órgãos, podendo espalhar-se para outras regiões do corpo. Com isso, o próprio câncer ao longo do seu tratamento torna os pacientes mais suscetíveis às infecções, devido ao enfraquecimento da resposta imunológica o organismo fica mais vulnerável à exposição às bactérias e vírus. Pacientes com câncer estão dentro de uma população mais vulnerável e vários fatores podem influenciar na susceptibilidade ao COVID-19, incluindo a idade, o tipo e o estágio do câncer, a sua localização, os efeitos colaterais das escolhas terapêuticas, as visitas frequentes ao sistema de saúde e a prevalência do vírus na região. Com isso, impactando principalmente na qualidade de vida do paciente oncológico e na promoção dos cuidados paliativos, por afetar na manutenção na qualidade de vida e bem-estar. Considerações finais: Dessa forma, torna-se necessário mais estudos sobre os cuidados paliativos em pacientes oncológicos com Covid-19, visando o alívio do sofrimento e a promoção de qualidade de vida.
Objetivo: Compreender o impacto causado pela Insuficiência Cardíaca (IC) na população idosa e como a equipe multidisciplinar da atenção básica tem o papel no acompanhamento dessa população. Revisão bibliográfica: A IC é uma das principais patologias que acompanham o envelhecimento, gerando um importante impacto na qualidade de vida dos pacientes acometidos. Com o decorrer da doença, o indivíduo está propenso a ter dificuldade na realização das atividades instrumentais de vida diária. Além da doença física, a angústia, o medo e a dificuldade de lidar com as novas adaptações impostas pela doença, faz com que os idosos tenham um alto risco de desenvolver problemas psiquiátricos. As principais ações que são compartilhadas entre a equipe e o doente correspondem à manutenção do programa de exercícios físicos, contribuindo para manutenção da força muscular, flexibilidade e condicionamento cardiorrespiratório, além de ações educacionais para mudanças e adaptações no estilo de vida. Considerações finais: Dessa forma, este trabalho propôs abordar as mudanças físicas e emocionais que o idoso com IC vive, além do papel da equipe multidisciplinar no acompanhamento dessa população.
