Objetivo: analisar, a partir da literatura científica, o papel da visita domiciliar enquanto ferramenta promotora de cuidado na Estratégia Saúde da Família. Metodologia: Estudo de natureza bibliográfica, do tipo revisão integrativa da literatura, executado a partir da busca on-line de publicações científicas brasileiras, nas seguintes bases de dados: Literatura Latino-Americana e do Caribe em Ciências da Saúde (LILACS), Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online (MEDLINE), Base de Dados Bibliográficas Especializada na Área de Enfermagem (BDENF) e Scientific Electronic Library Online (SCIELO). Foram utilizados os descritores “Visita Domiciliar”, “Enfermagem” e “Estratégia Saúde da Família”, todos eles, mediados pela justaposição do operador booleano AND. Além disso, também foi empregado o fluxograma PRISMA para demonstrar o processo de identificação, seleção, elegibilidade e inclusão dos estudos. Resultados: Evidenciou-se que a visita domiciliar é uma ferramenta imprescindível de trabalho da atenção primária em saúde que viabiliza a organização da ESF, por meio da inserção dos trabalhadores de saúde nos espaços familiares e na comunidade. Além disso, é uma atividade pautada pelos princípios da integralidade, longitudinalidade, promoção da saúde e continuidade na prestação da assistência, e que esses princípios, atualmente, norteiam toda a assistência prestada pelos profissionais da ESF. Considerações finais: Conclui-se que a VD, tem como finalidade criar e manter a aproximação do contexto de vida dos usuários, possibilitando a valorização da dimensão subjetiva das práticas em saúde, das vivências dos usuários e dos trabalhadores da saúde, e sem dúvida nenhuma, abre espaços de comunicação e diálogo entre saberes e práticas.
Objetivo: compreender por meio das evidências disponíveis na literatura acerca da dor oncológica e suas implicações biopsicossociais. Método: trata-se de uma revisão integrativa da literatura, de abordagem qualitativa, realizada entre os meses de março e maio de 2016. Resultados: foram selecionados 12 estudos que tratavam da temática em questão. Elegeram-se cinco categorias temáticas que discutem os aspectos relacionados aos “Sentimentos” e vivencias do paciente que passa pelos “Procedimentos”, a “Família do paciente” e “os profissionais” que acompanham de perto o tratamento, bem como “a enfermagem” em sua essência de cuidar. Conclusões: o paciente enquanto indivíduo desmembra uma série de fenômenos a qual está inserido, não bastando apenas o medo da morte, mas ainda todo um confronto com tratamentos dolorosos, aceitação familiar, monitoramento do seu estado emocional e o lidar com a dor.

INTRODUÇÃO: O uso do tabaco é um fator de risco para doenças crônicas não transmissíveis. A prevalência de agravos relacionados ao tabagismo é alta para doenças cardiovasculares, respiratórias e câncer, sendo a prevenção necessária para reduzir condições graves da doença e limitação da qualidade de vida. OBJETIVO: Descrever as condições de saúde de usuários fumantes usuários de polos para atividade física. MÉTODOS: Estudo quantitativo, com delineamento transversal, realizado na macrorregião de saúde Cariri, Estado do Ceará. Os participantes foram 433 usuários dos espaços de lazer e polos comunitários de atividade física. Utilizaram-se os instrumentos padronizados para mensuração do nível de atividade física e adaptação de questionário para levantamento de dados sobre condições de saúde. RESULTADOS: Os usuários autorreferidos fumantes apresentaram uma média de idade de 49,33 anos, irregularmente ativos, prevalentemente do gênero feminino. CONCLUSÃO: A população fumante entre os praticantes de atividade física apresenta condições de saúde que indicam risco para agravos e adoecimentos.
