Playing is a basic requirement of every individual and knows no age limit. In the learning process, games are one of the right strategies in increasing learning success. The purpose of this study was to determine whether game-based learning can improve learning outcomes squat-style long jump in fifth grade students of Kalibanteng Larangan Elementary School, Brebes Regency, Central Java. The method used in this research is the experimental method. The design used in this study was a one-group pretest-posttest design. In this research design, there are pre-test and post-test treatments. The instrument for collecting the data was the squat-style long jump test. The research results obtained, then processed and analyzed using SPPS. Data obtained from pre-test and post-test, from the SPSS output obtained t-count = 24,479> t-table = 2,048. If seen from significant, that the sig. (2-tailed) of 0,000. Because the significance value is less than (α = 0.05), Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted.
Artikel ini memuat tentang kajian teoritik upaya meningkatkan perilaku positif di lingkungan siswa sekolah dan remaja. Tujuan dari artikel ini memberikan pengetahuan tentang upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk menekan kenakalan remaja. Penulis mencoba menjelaskan secara procedural dan sistematis langkah dan tahapan yang digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran tanggungjawab. Dalam prosesnya siswa dituntut untuk saling menghormati dan menjaga perasaan teman, siswa dituntut untuk berpartisipasi dan berupaya dalam segala aktivitas yang ditugaskan, siswa mampu bertanggungjawab pada diri sendiri serta mampu membuat perencanaan hidup sendiri, siswa mampu bekerjasama dengan teman bermaian, dan siswa mampu menerapkan nilai-nilai yang sudah dipelajaran diimplementasikannya dalam kehidupan dimasyarakat.
This study uses scientometric analysis to comprehensively describe the descriptive parameters of publications about the relationship between sport and religion. Using ScientoPy, VOSviewer, and Biblioshiny software and datasets from two leading academic databases, Scopus and Web of Science, the current study can identify the most active scientific sources, keywords, and trending topics in sports and religion research. According to the findings, numerous types of research have been carried out on the correlation between sports and religion, and most of these papers have been published by scholars from the United States. The International Journal of the History of Sport and Sport in society has become the most active scientific journal. Furthermore, this study emphasizes the frequently utilized terms in the literature, explicitly "religion" and "sport." These keywords have protruded along with other terms that are gaining popularity in the study of sports and religion: "sports" and "muscular christianity." This information can be valuable to researchers and scholars and guide future research directions.
This research is a survey study on the pencak silat athletes' psychological condition. The purpose of this study will provide a psychological description of the athletes. This study is expected to maximize the achievements of martial arts athletes by providing an overview of the psychological requirements of martial arts athletes as a basis for selection. The method used in this study was a cross-sectional survey study. Questionnaires were distributed to 21 pencak silat national athletes who participated in the 2018 Asian Games event. The instrument used to collect data was the Athletic Coping Skills Inventory (ACSI) questionnaire which included Coping with Adversity aspects, Peaking Under Pressure, Goal Setting / Mental Preparation, Freedom from Worry, Confidence and Achievement Motivation, and Coach ability. The questionnaire aims to provide an overview of the athletes from psychology perspective. The results revealed that the athletes in general are able to face the difficulties they face calmly, are able to work optimally under pressure, has an exercise plan in achieving goals, has a strong mentality, is able to focus on one goal, has high motivation in achieving goals and practicing is an obligation to achieve. To conclude, this study provides an overview of the required psychological character of a martial arts athlete.
The low motivation to learn football in students is the main problem in this study. The research objective was to determine the effect of traditional game modification on student motivation in the learning process of football at SMA 1 PGRI Majalengka. The research sample consisted of 20 female students. The research design used One Group Pretest Posttest. The data collection technique used a motivation questionnaire test for learning football which was carried out on the initial and final tests. The data processing and analysis technique used SPSS 24. In reviewing the data, the average result on the initial test was 9.85 and after the researcher gave treatment using the cat-and-mouse game there was an increase in the student test result data with an average of 11.35. With the average difference in the initial test and final test is 1.55. Based on the t-value obtained in the hypothesis test results, the t-count = 5.848 is greater than the t-table value = 1.725. Then the hypothesis H1 is accepted. The conclusion is that the use of the cat-and-mouse game has a significant effect on increasing motivation for learning football in SMA 1 PGRI Majalengka students.
