This article examines how technology can be utilized in the process of Arabiclearning. Many problems of learning of Arabic language in accordance with the context faced in various educational institutions, a teacher allows modification formethodsof teaching and learning. This can be done with technological developments that contain lots of information that can be used to improve learning outcomes. Discussion about the application of technology in learning Arabic contains the question of what kind of technology that can be utilized, whether the technology can play a role in the alignment and sustainability of learning Arabic from basic to middle level, whether the technology can make learners will be more interested in learning the Arabiclanguage, whether the technology can create realization and relevance to what the students perceived, whether the technology can create Arabic learning media more varied that still lacks, whether the technology can improve the ability or competence of teachers in teaching Arabic, whether technology is able to take advantage of time allocation for learning Arabic, whether the technology is able to create an Arabic speaking environment. Through qualitative descriptive method, this article summarizes some of the above questions.
Open education resources (OER) are an interesting and diverse source of information that is easily accessible. For the Institut Agama Islam Negeri (IAIN) Curup library, the OER is an alternative service to meet visitors' needs through resources offered are so diverse that it needs adjustment and development. This study was conducted to find out development an effective OER management model to meet IAIN Curup library users' needs. This research used a combination of qualitative and quantitative research types. This study used a research and development method, adoption of the Borg and Gall model. Results showed that the OER management model was selected and developed by testing users' and experts' needs and opinions following the IAIN. OER management model comprised four stages. Stage 1 planning, consisting of steps needs analysis, identification, and verification or preparation. Stage 2 of organizing namely processing activities. Stage 3 actualizing, which consisted of steps service, and promotion. Stage 4 was evaluation. The (OER) management model application was useful. The IAIN Library's OER application could be accessed via a browser at the address http://oer.iaincurup.ac.id; with this open-source platform, and each library could add specific features such as search features, usage statistics, and others. The study concludes that the development of an OER management model for the IAIN Library Curup is still essential so that effectiveness of library services is following the conditions of the community's needs.
This paper is a theoretical study of the Optimization of the Use of SliMS applications in improving the performance and creativity of librarians in a Library. The better the performance of librarians, the better the library is managed. By using the application SliMS application many important jobs in the library that can be assisted include collections management, circulation service system, recording visit statistics, statistical collection records, database building and maintenance systems, evaluating the use of collections, and other tasks related to librarian assignments. Recording and evaluating the duties of librarians especially for the librarians of employees of Aparatur Sipil Negara (ASN) at the present time is carried out more carefully in accordance with the level and type of position. SliMS applications are well designed to accommodate all librarian tasks according to the functions of the library.
The article about the problems of the digital service of the library of IAIN Curup aims to find the real problems in developing this service. The difference between the concepts by the experts and the phenomena that occurred in the library of IAIN Curup led the author to carry out this research. The problem raised is how digital service in college libraries, how digital service in the library of IAIN Curup is and what problems are found in the field. This research method was carried out by analyzing the data qualitatively then giving an interpretation related to the existing concept. Data managed by the authors was one of the results of field observations and direct interviews with librarians related to the digital service of the library of IAIN Curup. The results found that many elements must be fulfilled by the library of IAIN Curup to build digital service. The identification of the problems in this study is the answer to the purpose of this study.
