Program rehabilitasi pecandu narkoba yang dilakukan secara komunitas, didasarkan atas penggunaan komunikasi dalam komunitas sebagai metode terapi dan rehabilitasi. Program rehabilitasi narkoba yang dimiliki pemerintah Jawa Barat dengan berbasis rumah sakit menggunakan pelayanan metode rehabilitasi therapeutic community. Rumah Palma Therapeutic Community dijadikan sebagai pusat rujukan terapi dan rehabilitasi adiksi dalam membina pecandu narkoba bertujuan membangun kesadaran dalam diri pecandu agar membentuk perilaku yang bernilai dan sesuai dengan pemulihan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menemukan metode terapi komunikasi konselor adiksi dalam membantu pemulihan residen, dukungan keluarga pada komunikasi terapeutik konselor adiksi, dan alasan mantan pecandu yang menjadi konselor adiksi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus eksplanatoris. Informan penelitian adalah konselor adiksi yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipan, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan metode terapi komunikasi yang dilakukan konselor adiksi adalah static counseling dan individual counseling. Metode terapi komunikasi tidak terlepas dari kedekatan, kenyamanan, kepercayaan diantara konselor dan residen. Penggunaan komunikasi diantara mereka ditunjukkan dengan bahasa verbal dan nonverbal. Dukungan keluarga residen ditunjukkan dengan adanya komitmen terhadap treatment pemulihan, keaktifan keluarga pada family support group dan family dialog. Alasan mantan pecandu menjadi konselor adiksi karena mereka dapat menjadi role model bagi residen dalam program pemulihan, adanya panggilan hati untuk membantu sesama pecandu, dan sebagai bentuk recovery maintainance setelah mereka selesai menjalani program pemulihan. Since 2013, the Bandung City Government has launched the Bandung Smart City by utilizing the development of communication technology through the activation of social media. This activation is an instruction from the Mayor of Bandung that all SKPD (Regional Government Work Units). At the sub-district level social media activation is done by creating Twitter, Facebook and Instagram accounts. The social media account is used as a media to control the performance of the sub-district level government apparatus, because social media activities will become a report card for the subdistrict head or lurah by the residents. Instagram Cinambo Subdistrict @kecamatan.cinambo which is active with a total of 1055 posts, 1047 followers until August 2018. This study aims to explore the application of social media literacy by Data and Information Processing Officers (PEDASI) in using Instagram. In achieving these objectives this research uses descriptive qualitative research methods, with primary data collection techniques through observation, interviews and focus group discussions (FGD), while secondary data uses literature studies of books, journals, and internet sources. Data analysis is used with the Miles and Huberman models and triangulation for data validity techniques. The application of Instagram social media literacy model shows that PEDASI Cinambo District already has access capabilities, technical expertise, skills in information management, and expertise in producing information content for Cinambo District activities.
Leadership becomes an important value that must be possessed by every student. Students as agents of change, are not only able to provide critical thinking, but must also be accompanied by a responsible attitude, able to achieve goals, and overcome changes and make the right decisions. The University of Informatics and Business of Indonesia (UNIBI) has the uniqueness to equip students as prospective scholars who are leaders and think globally through the provision of global leadership courses. This study aims to measure the level of effective leadership of UNIBI Accounting Study Program students based on aspects of basic style of leadership and effective style. This research method uses a quantitative approach with the survey method of leadership measurement of William J. Reddin, to 15 students of the 2017 Accounting Study Program who are the research population. The population was chosen based on the sampling quota, which is the total number of students taking Global Leadership classes. The results of research based on aspects of basic style leadership found 66.6% of students have a high orientation to the task or job and high on relationships. Aspects of effective leadership as many as 73% of students have more effective leadership skills. Conclusions the basic level of student leadership is high and effective leadership is very high.
Digital literacy involved in social media management in government is unique and become something important for communicating within the community. With proper management of social media, information about government programs can be disseminated effectively and efficiently and can be directly responded to by the community as social media users. The formulation of the problem in this study is how to manage digital literacy in social media in Lebak Siliwangi and Cimahpar villages. The two urban villages were chosen for consideration as winners of the 2019 West Java Public Relations Cup, and have renewable social media activities. The research method used is a case study to see the unique way of managing social media in the two villages through aspects of digital literacy. The results of the study concluded that the digital competence of social media managers in the Siliwangi and Cimahpar urban villages was considered sufficient, however, the level of competence was not at the professional level. The ability of social media management officers in the Siliwangi and Cimahpar urban villages is considered sufficient to be able to access and post information to residents. The desire to adopt content processing capabilities does exist but there are limited human resources. In disseminating information, officers are very careful disseminating information, by reconfirming the information to be posted to avoid misinformation.
Radio komunitas berperan dalam mengatasi fenomena dominasi media oleh satu pihak, baik sektor swasta maupun pemerintah. Peran radio komunitas merupakan cerminan dari gejolak kebutuhan informasi masyarakat yang kurang puas. Radio komunitas dibangun sebagai media alternatif lokal di tengah hegemoni media. Konsep radio komunitas dan partisipasi masyarakat yang mengangkat masyarakat setempat, ke radio karena radio tidak semata-mata berorientasi pada keuntungan bisnis. Dominasi yang bisa dilanggar melalui radio komunitas radio arus utama memiliki wilayah yang khas dan kepentingan masyarakat setempat. Peraturan radio komunitas saat ini seperti dua sisi mata uang yang berbeda. Salah satu sisi peraturan penyiaran bisa memberi angin segar bagi kebebasan informasi di masyarakat. Namun, sisi lain ruang radio komunitas dengan ketentuan yang ada berkaitan dengan pembatasan frekuensi dan frekuensi gelombang. Jika hanya pemerintah sebagai penguasa penyiar publik yang lebih mendukung penyiar komunitas, peran dan eksistensi radio komunitas dalam menghadapi hegemoni media akan maksimal mempertahankan kepentingan masyarakat lokal dan masyarakat tertentu.
Pasar seni ITB merupakan salah satu kegiatan yang rutin diselengarakan oleh Fakultas Seni Rupa dan Desain (FSRD) ITB, kegiatan ini diselengarakan setiap 4 tahun sekali dapat dinikmati oleh seluruh masyarakat. Pada tahun 2014 panitia Pasar seni ITB 2014 Pasar Seni ITB kembali mengangkat sebuah fenomena sosial yang dianggap sebagai persoalan dalam masyarakat. Dengan mengusung tajuk "Antara Aku". Untuk mengenalkan kegiatan tersebut, maka dibuatlah promosi melalui pre event yang dilaksanakan oleh panitia Pasar seni ITB 2014 pada acara The City Hall Fairground Keuken #5. Kegiatan promosi tersebut tidak terlepas dari unsur komunikasi dan seni. Melibatkan pertunjukan seni yang terdiri dari seni instalasi, seni lukis, dan seni grafis video mapping menjadikan kegiatan promosi tersebut menyita perhatian banyak pengunjung. Perpaduan unsur komunikasi dan seni menjadi pelengkap bagi terciptanya pemaknaan dan tercapainya tujuan komunikasi. Kajian unsur-unsur komunikasi seni pada kegiatan tersebut menimbulkan pengalaman estetis dan makna bahwa Pasar Seni ITB 2014 akan lebih ramai serta menampilkan pertunjukan seni maupun karya seni yang lebih indah dan menarik lagi.
Colorism is the different manner that a person gets based on skin color. This research aims to find out how many messages contain colorism messages on YouTube channel Gitasav entitled "Ketika Warna Kulit Bikin Hidup Sulit" | Beropini Episode 59. This research uses content analysis of the Holsty model theory and Lasswell theory. This research uses quantitative methods through descriptive content analysis design. This research uses descriptive statistics that aim to describe how many colorism messages appear on these impressions. The results of this research indicate that there are messages of colorism on YouTube channel Gitasav entitled "Ketika Warna Kulit Bikin Hidup Sulit" Beropini| Episode 59 with a total frequency of 227 times(100%). There are colorism messages in the lighter skin color message category with a total frequency of 73 times (32.1%). There are colorism messages in the whiter skin color message category with a total frequency of 40 times (17.6%). There are messages of colorism in the darker skin color message category with a total frequency of 45 times (20%). There are messages of colorism in the browner skin color message category with a total frequency of 22 times (9.7%). There are messages of colorism in the category of psychological and economic privilege messages for light skin with a total frequency of 35 times (15.4%). There are messages of colorism in the low social and economic hierarchical message category for dark skin with a total frequency of 12 times (5.2%). It can be concluded that there are messages colorism in each message category colorism on YouTube content Gitasav.
The emergence of the internet, which has the power of convergence and multiplatform, terminates the information boundaries. The information flow streaming through the internet creates numerous changes in various lifelines. One of the changes that are experienced is the information shift from print to online. This condition significantly affects print media companies, where customers and advertisers in newspapers begin migrating to a new platform, the internet. It becomes a big challenge for print media in addition to production costs that increase every year. In this era, if the print media do not immediately take action to adapt and innovate, it will be difficult to survive. Observing this development, it is essential to research to determine the strategies implemented by print media companies that currently exist to survive the disruption era. This study implemented a qualitative research method. This study’s results indicate that the print media's survival strategies are innovation, collaboration, maintaining good relationships with customers, and strengthening the journalistic content production to be more attractive.
