The purposed of this research is to find how the construction of wedding cultural change phenomenon of middle low economic class society in Palangkaraya internalized through media. This research applies Pierre Bourdieu's reproduction of culture, Berger-Luckman’s construction of social reality, Veblen's emulation and global media concept as the framework. The Paradigm used in this research is constructionism and qualitative research which held in Palangkaraya. Depth interview and observation are used as data collection technique. This research has succeeded to explain the connection between social construction of reality on marriage and social struggle in the field of wedding with the influence of mass media in the wedding cultural change phenomenon for middle low economic class in Palangkaraya.
Digital literacy involved in social media management in government is unique and become something important for communicating within the community. With proper management of social media, information about government programs can be disseminated effectively and efficiently and can be directly responded to by the community as social media users. The formulation of the problem in this study is how to manage digital literacy in social media in Lebak Siliwangi and Cimahpar villages. The two urban villages were chosen for consideration as winners of the 2019 West Java Public Relations Cup, and have renewable social media activities. The research method used is a case study to see the unique way of managing social media in the two villages through aspects of digital literacy. The results of the study concluded that the digital competence of social media managers in the Siliwangi and Cimahpar urban villages was considered sufficient, however, the level of competence was not at the professional level. The ability of social media management officers in the Siliwangi and Cimahpar urban villages is considered sufficient to be able to access and post information to residents. The desire to adopt content processing capabilities does exist but there are limited human resources. In disseminating information, officers are very careful disseminating information, by reconfirming the information to be posted to avoid misinformation.
The understanding of Information Technology (IT) adopted by internal government auditors is related to developments in the IT sector in the public sector, such as e-government applications. The purpose of this study is to provide an argument for the motivation for IT adoption when the internal auditors and to identify the factors that influence IT adoption and the influence of IT adoption on the performance of internal auditors in the public sector. This research used quantitative methods and data analysis using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with 79 auditors from the Inspectorate within the scope of Central Kalimantan Province. Findings. The results showed that only the perceived benefits variable had a positive and significant effect on IT adoption, while the compatibility variables, top management support, organizational readiness, the external force had a positive but insignificant effect on IT adoption as an antecedent part, while IT adoption had an effect, positive and significant impact on government performance as a consequence of IT adoption. This study provides a practical understanding for government auditors that in carrying out their duties, especially in the new normal order conditions, that the adoption of IT is important to do to produce a good performance.
Tulisan ini ingin membahas mengenai bagaimana perubahan kebiasaan masyarakat khususnya di Indonesia terutama di Kalimantan Tengah, Jawa Barat dan Kalimantan Utara dalam mengkonsumsi informasi melalui media karena pandemi virus Covid 19 berpengaruh pada keberadaan dan kehidupan media massa cetak. Penelitian kualitatif ini dilakukan dengan mengambil data tertulis kuisioner terbuka kepada beberapa responden wartawan dan pimpinan media massa cetak di Kalimantan Tengah, Jawa Barat dan Kalimantan Utara. Disimpulkan bahwa media massa yang masih bertahan menerapkan strategi khusus agar dapat bertahan pada masa pandemi virus covid 19 yaitu dengan melakukan efisiensi, digitalisasi koran, konvergensi media, memperkuat sisi konten (diversifikasi konten) dan melakukan modifikasi desain visual yang menarik perhatian pembaca. Media juga melakukan komunikasi pemasaran dengan memperkuat kerjasama dengan pemerintah, pihak swasta dan masyarakat terutama dalam memberikan berita yang kredibel menjadi tumpuan bagi perusahaan untuk tetap bertahan. Peneliti menyarankan agar dapat mempertahankan eksistensinya media massa cetak harus bisa menekankan kredibelitas sesuai dengan penerapan kode etik jurnalistik, dan memperkuat berita lokal yang berbeda dengan media online agar tetap diminati oleh masyarakat lokal.
