This research has the intention to develop the model of Quran learning which is creative and innovative to increase students’ ability in reading the Quran. This method is applied by the use of puzzle game, iqro bar, and monopoly game, so that the students can recognize the Quran letters well and correctly. This research applies the research and development approach. The trial is done to all students in every faculty at UNISBA. The number of the students who join this research is 519 students. The choosing of the samples is based on the group of students’ abilities in reading the Quran. Especially, the students who are in E group. The result of the research shows that the application of 3 A learning media for the group that hasn’t known Quran letters well correctly gives significant influence to help them recognize the Hijaiyyah letters easily. The process of learning is designed actively, creatively, effectively, innovatively and fun. This process of learning is also based on studentcentered. Based on the result, the researcher gives suggestion to do the further study as the part of the design’s development and correction of the learning Quran through 3 A media
The intention of this paper is to give a better understanding about the implementation of sustainable manufacturing practice in the textile companies in Indonesia as one of the promising sectors in the manufacturing industry. The data was collected by taking a case study approach in one of the leading textile companies in Indonesia. Questionnaire and interview techniques were used to gather in-depth information about the implementation of a sustainable concept in the company. The result reveals that the extent of the implementation of Sustainable Manufacturing Practices (SMP) in the companies are at a level of moderate to high. From the three dimensions measured which are environment, economy, and social dimensions, the evaluation result shows good performance in terms of the implementation of sustainable concepts, like low level of gas emission, high percentage of renewable energy usage, cost reduction rate, high quality of life, etc. From this result, the authors then develop a sustainable manufacturing model in the wider coverage to be implemented not only in the textile industry but is expected to be implemented in manufacturing sectors as well. This model consists of at least seven basic archetypes which are divided into three dominant areas: technological innovation, economical, and social areas which aim to bring better performance in the manufacturing industry of Indonesia.
In this 21st century era, creative industry has been recognizing as a new Indonesian economic driver, especially textile industry that are forecasted to give positive trend in the future. Bandung, where is known as Creative City with great number of textile companies, has gathered more intention since many SMEs in textile industries try to develop their business in this city. This paper attempts to bring a better economic development for SMEs business in Bandung by revealing Supply Chain Management (SCM) application and Brand Image as crucial factors that brings big impacts to the textile SMEs' performance. Quantitative analysis has been performed, supported by the literature review process to give better understanding about the causal relationship among those variables. The Partial Least Square result then exposes that among the SCM practices in textile SMEs' companies, quality of information sharing emerges as the most influential factor that enhances the SMEs' performance, followed by customer relationship, information sharing, quality information exchange' and 'lean production'. Besides of SCM, brand image also has impact to the textile SMEs' performance in Bandung.
Fish consumption is very important for human life. The potential for fisheries business has a pretty good prospect, because now the need for fish, both fresh and processed, has not been able to meet consumer needs. One of the local governments that has implemented the Integrated Marine and Fisheries Center Development Program to strengthen the economy, sovereignty and independence of regions, remote areas and rural areas, is Bandung district by building Sabilulungan Soreang modern fish market. This study aimed to determine the internal and external factors affecting the fish business program at modern fish market and analyze the canvas business model at modern fish market in Bandung Regency, West Java. The method used was SWOT analysis and BMC (business model canvas) with 45 respondents. The result of this research was that Sabilulungan modern fish market was in a strong internal position because it was above the value of 2.50. The main strength of Sabilulungan modern fish market was having a number of regular customers of more than 50%, with a score of 0.3912. Sabilulungan modern fish market was strong enough in optimizing existing opportunities in overcoming threats. The opportunity for Sabilulungan modern fish market was to collaborate with fishermen and other modern fish markets to produce quality fish and able to standardize fish prices in the market, with a score of 0.48146. From the BMC analysis, Sabilulungan modern fish market had a value proportion, namely prioritizing hygienic production without using chemicals to preserve fish.
Bandung is one of the icons or portraits of a rich city both in terms of education and creative human resources. Nevertheless, there is something ironic about this city. Right in the middle of it, there is an urban village which holds poor icon in this city known as flower city. This research designated as an empowerment program with the aim to improve living standards and reduce the amount of inorganic waste by processing them into eco-friendly creative products with an economic and high selling value for the street vendors of Cikapundung riverbank, Bandung, West Java. Based on Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, the results of this research are to improve living standard and welfare of the poor people by building family's economic independence in generating per capita income in accordance with national welfare standard, to understand and foster the entrepreneurial spirit through caring for the environment, to be able to create creative and innovative results, to be able to overcome environmental problems, to be able to maintain the environmental hygiene through the spirit of concerning for the environment, and also to increase the economic value of creative and innovative products by processing inorganic wastes into valued products to obtain additional earnings.
