Purpose:to study callanetics as modern direction in girl students' physical education. Material:in the research 1st year girl students of age 16-17 years (n=35) participated. The girls were trained in Callanetics sport circle twice a week in free time. Every training lasted 60 minutes. The program was designed for 72 hours and contained: theoretical part, practical part, control part, tasks for independent work and eating recommendations. Results:motives for girl students' practicing callanetics were found. We registered positive changes in anthropometric indicators, power abilities and flexibility. After two months' training body mass of girl students reduced. We showed need in changing physical culture trainings' forms and methods in universities. It is offered to actively use static-dynamic exercises. Conclusions:when fulfilling callanetics exercises one should strictly follow a number of methodic techniques, which will increase trainings' effectiveness and make them health related.

Purpose:of the research is to develop methodical bases of training of cadets for the military applied heptathlon competitions. Material:Cadets of 2-3 courses at the age of 19-20 years (n=20) participated in researches. Cadets were selected by the best results of exercises performing included into the program of military applied heptathlon competitions (100 m run, 50 m freestyle swimming, Kalashnikov rifle shooting, pull-up, obstacle course, grenade throwing, 3000 m run). Preparation took place on the basis of training center. All trainings were organized and carried out according to the methodical basics: in a week preparation microcycle five days cadets had two trainings a day (on Saturday was one training, on Sunday they had rest). The selected exercises with individual loads were performed. Results:Sport scores demonstrated top results in the performance of 100 m run, 3000 m run and pull-up. The indices of performing exercise "obstacle course" were much lower than expected. Rather low results were demonstrated in swimming and shooting. Conclusions:Results of researches indicate the necessity of quality improvement: cadets' weapons proficiency; physical readiness to perform the exercises requiring complex demonstration of all physical qualities.

Purpose: To develop the author's program of physical training of servicemen to a qualification examination on the right to wear “The Beret with honors” and to check its efficiency. Material: The perspective contingent for participation in an examination in number of 20 people at the age of 19-23 years participated in the researches. Motive tests were used for determination of level of preparedness: run of 10 km, passing of the general combat course; grenade throwing; time of performance of complex power exercise: 30 squats, 30 bendings extensions of hands in an emphasis lying, 30 raising of legs lying, turn over of a rubber tire of 30 m. Time of dismantling-assembly of weapon, filling of magazine and finishing of 30 m were fixed in fire preparation. Defeat of the target was fixed in points when firing. Basic provisions of the author's program of training: duration of 21 day; Monday - Friday on two trainings, Saturday - one training and recovery actions, Sunday - rest; a method of performance of exercises - continuous; trainings took place in full combat equipment; the main attention was paid to development of the general endurance in the morning and the whole other work was performed against the background of the general exhaustion. Results: Use of the author's technique in 21 days of training allowed: to increase the level of the general endurance by 11,5%, the level of power endurance by 4,2%, the level of high-speed and power abilities and dexterity by 9,9%; the level of preparedness for aimed fire by 17,3%. Conclusions: The accelerated, three-week training program with complex use of power exercises, aerobic load, fighting sparrings and service weapon firing brought positive results. Thus, the level of professional preparedness of cadets for performing the set task was increased.

Abstract. Purpose: to analyze results of official combat mission's fulfillment (militarized cross with shooting and throwing of grenades) by military educational establishment's cadets. Material: in the research 80 2 nd year cadets of different specialties participated. The cadets fulfilled exercise in full military equipment. They started and finished by military units and total time, registered by indicators of the last team member, was considered. The distance was 6 km and included: run on even surface; overcoming of obstacle course; two firing lines with shooting in lying and standing position at human height target; throwing of training grenade (F 1) for distance of not less than 35 m. For every slip in shooting 10 seconds of penalty time was accounted; for failure in throwing grenade -40 seconds of penalty time.Results: the conducted study permitted to assess different sides of cadets' profile training, i.e. physical, fire and tactic. All units finished in full strength, i.e. coordination of actions was good. The best total time of cross fulfillment was demonstrated by cadets of "special purpose units" specialty. The best shooting results were in cadets of "automobile transport" specialty -90%, who also were the best in throwing grenade -40%. Not very high indicator of this speedpower exercise says about inability to overcome general fatigue and fulfill combat task at the utmost. Conclusions: Complex technology of trainings with their combining with profile disciplines (physical, tactic and fire) first of all train cadets to act coordinately; to be responsible for each other; it will facilitate development and perfection of basic physical qualities, formation of main physical skills; increase percentage of sharpshooting in conditions of significant physical loads.

The article offers the analysis of the physical training Program for cadets in the US Military Academy West Point. Recently, Ukraine gained access to the best military experience of NATO. An important factor in strengthening the combat potential of the army is the future officers’ physical training. The analysis of the physical training Program for cadets in the US Military Academy West Point will allow the gradual implementation of NATO standards in higher military education in Ukraine. West Point accepts boys and girls, U.S. citizens, ages 17-22. Applicants are recommended to pass the camp Summer Leaders Experience. The governing body that organizes, implements and controls the entire process of physical education is the Department of Physical Education. The guiding document for the entire process of physical education is the physical training Program. The strategic goals laid down in the physical training Program are: cadet skills, teaching staff responsibilities, military skills, program implementation. The physical training Program consists of three sections: the physical education curriculum or "training course"; physical fitness testing; and participation in sports competitions. The first section in the Program has three main courses for cadets’ working: basic motor activities; basic fitness; and daily physical activity. The second section in the Program is regular physical fitness testing, it provides cadets the opportunity to demonstrate personal physical perfection and emphasizes the importance of physical fitness for a military profession. The third section in the Program is participation in competitions, it encourages each cadet during every semester to participate in competitions according to their own abilities and interests: team, club, Inter-academic. The physical education curriculum has four levels for cadets’ training. The transition to a new level is allowed only if a cadet meets all the standards from the previous level. The fourth level provides the development of self-confidence that gives cadets the opportunity to meet the requirements of the Academy and the army in physical training in the future. The third level ensures cadets’ development of basic competence in movement and water skills. The second level designs a final combat experience that is closely related to the Army combat program in the modern army. The first level provides the culmination in one of many cycles in cadet’s physical activity that is cadet’s physical movement throughout life.
