Проведено аналіз сучасних методів діагностування технічного стану каналів стволів та боєприпасів до вогнепальної зброї. Запропоновано перспективний метод діагностування, визначено його зміст. Обґрунтовано потребу у встановленні зв'язку між технічним станом каналів стволів та боєприпасів і характеристиками балістичних елементів пострілу. Визначено за доцільне розв'язування рівнянь внутрішньої балістики чисельним методом для моделювання перебігу процесу пострілу за наявності дефектів каналів стволів і боєприпасів. Розглянуто принципи побудови різницевої схеми. Відзначено роль і місце експлуатаційного контролю параметрів озброєння у забезпеченні заданої ефективності виконання службово-бойових завдань силами безпеки. Показано обмежені можливості відомих методів і засобів діагностування технічного стану каналів стволів вогнепальної зброї та боєприпасів до неї. Запропоновано математичний опис роздуття каналу ствола та принципи його імплементування у рівняння внутрішньої балістики. Одержано вдосконалену математичну модель пострілу, в якій ураховано втрату енергії порохових газів за наявності роздуття каналу ствола. За результатами практичного моделювання отримано криві тиску порохових газів та швидкості руху снаряда для різних зразків вогнепальної зброї за наявності роздуття. Показано, що за характером кривих тиску і швидкості можна встановити місце розташування роздуття каналу ствола та ступінь прояву цього дефекту.Ключові слова: службово-бойове завдання, канал ствола, роздуття, технічний стан, балістичний елемент пострілу, процес пострілу, моделювання.
