Das beim Erhitzen der Chlorbutene (I) mit Fumarsäurediäthylester in Gegenwart katalytischer Mengen von CuCl auf 190‐200°C entstehende Dien (II) reagiert mit dem Fumarat zum Cyclohexendicarbonsäureester (III) (Ausbeute 60 bis 70%).
Durch Addition der Chlormethylalkyläther (II) an die Alkoxybutene (I) in Gegenwart von ZnCl2 bei 40‐50°C und Dehydrochlorierung der entstehenden Chlordialkoxyalkane (III) (Ausbeute 46‐60%) mit KOH in siedendem Äthanol werden die Titelverbindungen (IV) (73‐79%) dargestellt.
