This research aims to to describe how low emotional intelligence is in class VIII students at SMP Negeri 18 Pontianak . The research method used is descriptive in the form of qualitative research. Source of data in This study is a class VIII SMP Negeri 18 Pontianak and data collection techniques used are direct communication techniques through interview and studies documentation in the form of book notes case . Results obtained _ from study this state that participant educate with intelligence emotional low that can be displayed that is participant students who do not have emotional balance, no capable customize self with the burden faced , less capable get along with people around , do not have self-control and easy break hope . The causative factors are internal factors where students are less able to control negative emotions that arise and for external factors, namely the condition of the family, school and community environment. As for the efforts that BK teachers use to increase intelligence emotional participant educate that is with doing service guidance counseling by integrated and approach to participant educate through counseling individual .Keywords: Students , Low Emotional Intelligence
Atmosphere of school climate or state of a school, related to the discipline of learning which can be influenced by the school climate. This research aims to describe the influence of school climate on the discipline of learning of class X SMA Negeri 7 Pontianak. This research method used a descriptive method with the form of influence study research. Data collection techniques in this study are indirect communication techniques and data collection tools using a questionnaire. Based on the results of data analysis, it shows for us that the climate of SMA Negeri 7 Pontianak is in a very good category, with a percentage of 85.01%. Value of the discipline of learning class X SMA Negeri 7 Pontianak in a good category with a percentage of 77.16%. There is a significant influence that is equal to 47% of the school climate of disciplinary learning in class X SMA Negeri 7 Pontianak. The higher the school climate, the higher the level of discipline of students in class X SMA Negeri 7 Pontianak in learning and vice versa, the lower the school climate, the lower the level of learning discipline of students in class X SMA Negeri 7 Pontianak in learning.Keyword : Clime, Discipline, Learning
.This study aims to describe the implementation of politeness norms in the behavior of class X science students. The indicators studied were: norms of politeness in associating with parents; norms of politeness in associating with teachers; norms of politeness in associating with older people; norms of politeness in associating with younger people; norms of politeness in associating with peers; and norms of politeness in getting along with the opposite sex. This study uses a quantitative approach in the form of survey research. The data collection instrument in this study was a questionnaire. The results showed that the implementation of politeness norms on the behavior of students in class X science was in the good category with a percentage of 76.68%. The application of politeness norms in the behavior of class X science students is in the form of being polite to parents and younger people, respecting and appreciating teachers, older people, and the opposite sex, as well as being considerate and loyal to friends. Suggestions for Guidance Counseling teachers need to provide classical services about the importance of respecting and being democratic with younger people.Keywords: Parents, Peers, Politeness Norms, Teachers, the Opposite Sex
