Background: One of the subdisciplines of Ashtanga Ayurveda is known as Agadatantra, and it deals with the various conditions associated with poisoning as well as their diagnosis and treatment. Sarpavisha is the most important Visha because it is the condition that requires urgent assistance. There are many Agada Yogas (anti-poisonous formulations) that are helpful in Sarpavisha Chikitsa mentioned by Ayurvedic Acharyas. Sugandhadi Agada is one of the Agada Yogas mentioned by Acharya Vagbhatta in Ashtanga hridye and Acharya Vriddha Vagbhatta in Ashtanga Sangraha. Aim and objectives: Based on the function of Sugandhadi agada's ingredients as described in various classical texts, this review and debate will focus on Mandali snake bite poisoning. Materials and Method: By focusing on its properties and mechanism of action, the comprehensive review of Sugandhadi Agada formulation is done using texts like Ashtanga Hridye and Ashtanga Sangraha. Observations and Results: Sugandhadi Agada, as described by Acharya Vagbhatta and Vriddha Vagbhatta, contains eight drugs, all of which have Vishahara, Jwarhar, raktapittahar, and Shothohara properties and can be used to treat Mandali Sarpavisha. Conclusion: Sugandhadi Agada, as mentioned by Acharya Vagbhatta and Acharya Vridda Vagbhata in Mandali Sarpavisha Chikitsa, might be one of the effective anti-poisonous formulations that ought to be tried for experimental and clinical trials in Sarpavisha Chikitsa. Ayurveda, “The Science of Living”, it has been in existence since the beginning of time and has been giving the health solutions for various named and unnamed diseases, to the humankind since ages. Cancer is indirectly described in Ayurveda texts in the form of various terms like ‘arbud’, ‘gulma’, ‘granthi’ which have been coined that could be related to cancer. Though an uncommon malignancy Gallbladder cancer is the commonest and fatal biliary malignancy as it is not easily diagnosed in early stages. The integrated approach for early diagnosis and prevention through Ayurveda could be helpful in the management of the biliary malignancy. Aims and Objectives • To review, evaluate, elaborate and discuss the gallbladder cancer as per Ayurveda and modern medicine. • To evaluate, elaborate and discuss the current and ancient approach to the diagnosis, management and prevention of gallbladder cancer. Materials and Methods: This Research Scientific Paper is based on Ayurvedic Clinical Experiences in Cancer & Gall Bladder Cancer, Research Article published on Cancer in Medical Journal. Ayurvedic and Modern Text have been reviewed to collect, analyze, evaluate, elaborate and discuss of concern subjects. A Medline, PubMed database search was performed to identify articles published using the keywords ‘carcinoma of gallbladder’, ‘gallbladder cancer’, ‘gallbladder neoplasm’, ‘cholecystectomy’, ‘arbud’, ‘gulma’. Conclusion: Gall Bladder Cancer can be diagnosed and managed by using diagnostic method recommended in Modern Medicine as well as by using basic principles and medicines described in Ayurveda. Gall Bladder Cancer can be prevented by reducing the risks factor of this disease through follow the wholesome diet and normal lifestyle described in Ayurveda.
The global cancer burden has been rising day by day due to increase the incidence of high-risk factors for cancer. Chronic alcoholism, tobacco chewing, tobacco smoking, unhealthy diet patterns, unbalanced hormones, obesity, excessive exposure of radiation and sunlight, carcinogenic environmental substance and food additives, chronic inflammation, immunosuppression, infectious agents and advanced age these are some high-risk factors for cancer. Since prevention is better than cure, several preventative measures have been implemented to help prevent cancer. Quitting smoking, avoiding excessive body fat and engaging in regular physical activity are the most prevalent factors that minimize cancer risk. Yogasana (yogic poses), Pranayam (yogic breathing techniques) and Yoga Nidra, which have been practiced in India since ancient times, have played a significant role in cancer prevention. Yogic Prayer, Shodhana Kriyas (yogic cleansing techniques) like Jalaneti (nasal cleansing yogic practice), Kapalbhati, Yogic Sukshma Vyayama, Yogasana like Tadasana (mountain pose), Katichakrasana (standing spinal twist), Vajrasana (thunderbolt pose), Ardha Ushtrasana (half camel pose), Shashankasana (the hare pose), Bhujangasana (cobra pose), Balasana (child pose), Supta Baddha Konasana (reclining bound angle pose) and Shavasana (corpse pose), Pranayam like Nadishodhana (alternate nostril breathing), Bhramari (bumblebee breathing), Dhyan (Meditation) like Yoga Nidra should be beneficial to prevent the cancer and preventive 2
