This research aims at evaluating the effectiveness of Karawang community empowerment program in order to create sustainable tourism. The innovation of the community development and empowerment program is direct training for those who can improve the knowledge, attitudes, and behavior of the community in realizing sustainable tourism in Karawang. This research is experimental research with the cross-sectional approach because of the data obtained through treatment in a short time to compare differences in knowledge before and after treatment (counseling and training). The research subjects of this study were productive age housewives consisting of 30 people. From the data analysis, it can be concluded that the results of the questionnaire showed that most participants had a very positive reaction to this community development and empowerment activity. The results of the analysis by the Wilcoxon test showed that negative ranks were 0, positive ranks were 25, and ties were 2. From the results of tests given to participants, it was known that in general, the participants experienced an increase in waste management value by 24%. This shows that community development and empowerment carried out in Segaran Village, Karawang, West Java showed a positive impact. There are significant differences in knowledge and skills between before training and after training. This results can be applied to the development and empowerment of communities in various other aspects, especially in increasing the potential of a region to support sustainable tourism.
AbstrakIndonesia saat ini masih menghadapi masalah gizi ganda, yaitu kondisi dimana di satu wilayah masih banyaknya jumlah penderita gizi kurang, sementara di wilayah lain jumlah masyarakat yang mengalami gizi lebih cenderung meningkat. Masalah gizi ganda ini sangat erat kaitannya dengan gaya hidup masyarakat dan perilaku gizi. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi stunting (masalah kurang gizi) pada Baduta (Bayi Dua Tahun) ialah ASI tidak diberikan secara eksklusif selama 6 bulan pertama. Ibu tidak memberikan ASI eksklusif disebabkan oleh beberapa alasan, antara lain pengetahuan ibu tentang manajemen laktasi masih rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pengetahuan manajemen laktasi terhadap perilaku pemberian ASI eksklusif. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan metode survey yang dilakukan pada ibu yang memiliki anak usia 0-6 bulan di 6 Posyandu Kelurahan Jati, Jakarta Timur. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 57 responden. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah simple random sampling. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara pengetahuan manajemen laktasi terhadap perilaku pemberian ASI eksklusif pada ibu dengan nilai signifikansi regresi sebesar 35,58 dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar (0,627) dan pengaruh sebesar 39,28% terhadap perilaku pemberian ASI eksklusif.Kata Kunci: ASI Eksklusif, manajemen laktasi, pengetahuan The Influence of Lactation Management Knowledge on Exclusive Breastfeeding Behavior AbstractIndonesia is currently still facing multiple nutritional problems, namely conditions where in one region there are still a large number of malnourished people, while in other regions the number of people who experience nutrition is more likely to increase. This dual nutrition problem is very closely related to people's lifestyle and nutritional behavior. One of the factors that affect stunting (problem of malnutrition) in Baduta (Two-Year Baby) is that breast milk is not given exclusively for the first 6 months. Mothers not giving exclusive breastfeeding are caused by several reasons, including mother's knowledge about lactation management. This research aimed to determine the influence of lactation management knowledge on exclusive breastfeeding. The research was categorized into quantitative research with survey method on mothers who have children age 0-6 months at 6 integrated health service posts (Posyandu in Bahasa Indonesia) in Jati, East Jakarta. The amount of samples used in this research was 57 respondents. Sampling method used in this study was simple random sampling. The results showed that there were influences on lactation management knowledge towards exclusive Jurnal Kesejahteraan Keluarga dan Pendidikan [JKKP] Vol.06 No.01 doi.org/10.21009/JKKP.061.04breastfeeding behavior of mothers with regression significant value of 35.58 (coefficient relation=0.627) and influence of 39.28% on exclusive breastfeeding behavior.
E-learning technology has a vital role to play in supporting the realization of learning goals during the COVID-19 pandemic. One that is often used is video conferencing technology from Zoom. Many studies have discussed the important role of e-learning technology, but there are still limited studies that examine how the role of Zoom technology in increasing student engagement in online learning. Thus, this study focuses to reveal the impact of online instructional quality using Zoom video conferencing technology on increasing students’ online learning intentions. We use the technology acceptance model (TAM) approach to answer the objectives of this study. This study randomly involved 190 students at Universitas Negeri Jakarta, Indonesia through an online questionnaire. We used structural equation modeling (SEM) analysis to examine the effect on each variable. In addition, we also use a bootstrap confidence interval estimate to investigate the role of mediation. The study results reveal that students' online learning intentions are influenced by perceived usefulness and ease of using Zoom. Also, perceived usefulness and ease of use are proven to mediate the effect of instructional quality on students’ online learning intentions using Zoom video conferencing technology. The results of this study provide important implications for education practitioners to develop engaging online learning for students.
Abstrak: Candi Batujaya yang berlokasi di Desa Segaran, Kecamatan Batujaya, Kabupaten Karawang merupakan wilayah pariwisata dengan objek wisata utama yaitu Candi Batujaya. Namun perkembangan pariwisata dan desa wisata belum efektif dan massif dikunjungi oleh wisatawan. Salah satu faktor penyebabnya ialah rendahnya literasi budaya dari masyarakat setempat sebagai content knowledge. Untuk meningkatkan literasi budaya, diperlukan intervensi literasi dalam keluarga yang dikenal dengan istilah literasi budaya. Atas dasar itu dilaksanakan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dengan judul “Penyuluhan Family Literacy Sebagai Stimulasi Untuk Meningkatkan Literasi Budaya Pada Masyarakat Wilayah Candi Batujaya Karawangâ€. Kegiatan dari mulai persiapan, pelaskanaan dan evaluasi dilaksanakan selama empat bulan terhitung mulai Agustus s.d November 2015. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada hari Sabtu, tanggal 3 Oktober 2018 bertempat di aula Museum Candi Batujaya Kabupaten Karawang, diikuti oleh 30 orang orang tua (ibu-ibu) yang memilki anak usia PAUD, TK dan SD serta 5 orang tenaga relawan. Materi pelatihan terdiri dari: (1) literasi keluarga, yang mencakup pengertian literasi keluarga, bentuk literasi keluarga, urgensi literasi keluarga, manfaat pembinaan literasi dalam keluarga dan ruang lingkup literasi keluarga; dan (2) literasi budaya, yang mencakup pengertian literasi budaya, bentuk literasi budaya, urgensi literasi budaya, manfaat pembinaan literasi budaya dalam keluarga dan ruang lingkup literasi budaya. Hasil pelatihan diketahui bahwa peserta pelatihan menguasai materi pelatihan yang telah disampaikan. Abstract: Batujaya Temple which located in Segaran Village, Batujaya Subdistrict, Karawang Regency is a tourism area with the main tourism object, Batujaya Temple. But the development of tourism and tourist villages has not been effective and massive visited by tourists. One of the contributing factors is the low cultural literacy of the local community as content knowledge. To improve cultural literacy, literacy interventions in the family are needed known as cultural literacy. Based on that, community service activities were carried out with the title "Extension of Family Literacy as a Stimulation to Increase Cultural Literacy in the Batujaya Temple Karawang Region Community". The activities starting from preparation, training and evaluation were carried out for four months starting from August to November 2015. The activity was held on Saturday, October 3, 2018 in the hall of Batujaya Temple Museum, Karawang Regency, attended by 30 parents (mothers) who having PAUD, kindergarten and elementary school children and 5 volunteers. The training material consists of: (1) family literacy, which includes the notion of family literacy, forms of family literacy, the urgency of family literacy, the benefits of literacy development in the family and the scope of family literacy; and (2) cultural literacy, which includes the notion of cultural literacy, forms of cultural literacy, the urgency of cultural literacy, the benefits of fostering cultural literacy in the family and the scope of cultural literacy. The training results revealed that training participants mastered the training material that had been delivered.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh keterlibatan orangtua terhadap disiplin di era digital. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah Ar-Rahmah, Bogor pada Januari sampai November 2020. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey dengan pendekatan kuantitatif asosiatif. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas 1–4 di Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah, dengan jumlah sampel sebesar 93 responden. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah proportionate stratified random sampling. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa untuk variabel keterlibatan orangtua pada dimensi kemitraan antara orangtua dengan satuan pendidikan memiliki persentase sebesar 57% dan termasuk ke dalam kategori sedang. Sedangkan untuk variabel disiplin di era digital diperoleh hasil bahwa mayoritas anak belum memiliki disiplin yang tinggi. Hasil analisis data disimpulkan bahwa keterlibatan orangtua memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap disiplin di era digital. Sebesar 27,4% variasi variabel sikap disiplin di era digital dapat dijelaskan oleh variabel keterlibatan orangtua, sedangkan 72,6% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti.Abstract This study aims to analyze the effect of parental involvement on discipline in the digital age. This research was conducted at Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah Ar-Rahmah, Bogor from January to November 2020. This research method used a survey method with an associative quantitative approach. The population in this study were students grade 1–4 at Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah, with a total sample size of 93 respondents. The sampling technique used in this study was proportionate stratified random sampling. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the variable of parental involvement in the partnership dimension between parents and educational units has a percentage of 57% and is included in the medium category. As for the discipline variable in the digital era, the results show that most children do not have high discipline. The results of data analysis concluded that parental involvement has a significant effect on discipline in the digital era. 27.4% of the variation in the variable attitude of discipline in the digital era can be explained by the variable of parental involvement, while 72.6% is influenced by other factors that are not examined.
