El objetivo de la investigación fue determinar el uso de una evaluación alternativa en la producción oral de estudiantes de nivel A2 de conocimiento con respecto al idioma inglés. Para lo cual se realizó una revisión profunda de la teoría que respalda la evaluación alternativa con respecto a la evaluación tradicional. La investigación tiene método científico con enfoque cuantitativo y se llevó a cabo mediante un estudio de campo experimental, ya que se obtuvieron datos a partir del grupo de control (70 estudiantes) y grupo experimental (63 estudiantes) al cual se aplicó un plan de intervención. La población fue representada por 133 estudiantes de segundo y tercer nivel de la Facultad de Ciencias de la Educación de la Universidad Nacional de Chimborazo. Se aplicó un instrumento para la recolección de datos, mediante una rúbrica que permitió evaluar pronunciación y fluidez como criterios de producción oral. Los datos obtenidos fueron tabulados, analizados, interpretados y sometidos a la prueba estadística chi-cuadrado a fin de comprobar la hipótesis planteada. Del análisis estadístico, se concluyó que la evaluación alternativa incide positivamente y mejora la producción oral en los estudiantes de nivel A2, luego de aplicar las técnicas utilizadas para el contexto de la presente investigación.
ResumenEl objetivo de la investigación, fue determinar la incidencia de la aplicación de procesos pedagógicos en el aprendizaje del idioma inglés en los niños y niñas de sexto y séptimo año de Educación Básica de la escuela García Moreno del Batán en la ciudad de Riobamba durante el tercer trimestre del periodo septiembre 2017 febrero 2018. Para ello, se planteó que la investigación fuera correlacional, explicativa, cuasi experimental, bibliográfica y de campo. Se consideró una muestra intencional conformada por veinte y dos (22) estudiantes, tanto para el grupo de control como para el grupo experimental. El grupo experimental a excepción del grupo de control, fue sometido durante 3 meses a un plan de intervención, que consistió en el desarrollo de un conjunto de actividades orientadas a las habilidades de inglés como son: escuchar, hablar, leer y escribir en inglés. Mediante el test Young Learners validado por Cambridge, se recolectó la información antes y después (pre test y post test) en cada grupo. La información fue tabulada, analizada estadísticamente e interpretada mediante tablas, gráficos y permitió concluir que los estudiantes del grupo experimental mostraron una mejora significativa con respecto al grupo de control, por lo que se determinó que los procesos pedagógicos incidieron positivamente en el aprendizaje del idioma inglés. AbstractThe objective of this research was to determine the incidence of the application of pedagogical processes for English learning language in children from sixth and seventh years of Basic Education of García Moreno School in Riobamba during the third quarter of the period September 2017 February 2018. For that reason, it was considered a correlational, explanatory, quasiexperimental, bibliographical and field research. A purposive sample consisting on twenty-two students (22) was taken into account for both control and the experimental group. The experimental group was an exception of the control group; due to it was an intervention plan during 3 months that consisted of the development of a group of activities managed to the abilities of English such as: listening, speaking, reading and writing. Through the Young Learners test validated by Cambridge, the information was collected before and after (pre -test and post-test) in each group. The information was tabulated, analyzed and interpreted statistically through tables and graphs. It allowed concluding that the students of the experimental group showed a significant improvement in the different language skills forward the control group, therefore, it was determined that the pedagogical processes had a positive impact on the learning of the English language.
El objetivo de la presente investigación, fue realizar un diagnóstico de actividades didácticas en el aprendizaje del idioma de los niños de educación básica sexto y séptimo grado de la Escuela García Moreno del barrio del Batán de la ciudad de Riobamba. Para ello, se aplicó un conjunto de actividades didácticas orientadas a la evaluación de las destrezas de listening, reading speaking y writing del idioma inglés, tales como: organizadores, mentefactos, formulación de oraciones, actividades de sugestión, diálogos, etc. La investigación fue enfocada sobre la aplicación de un proceso pedagógico en el aprendizaje de inglés, siendo de tipo descriptiva, bibliográfica de campo y explicativa aplicada en una población y muestra de 5 docentes y 44 estudiantes con similar nivel de conocimientos del idioma inglés. Para la recolección de datos se utilizaron las técnicas de las encuestas y el test. La información recolectada fue tabulada y representada mediante tablas y gráficos estadísticos para luego analizarla e interpretarla. Los resultados permitieron establecer que la diversificación de las actividades permitió motivar a los estudiantes en las competencias comunicacionales. Así también sirve como una línea base del proceso pedagógico del desarrollado del aprendizaje del idioma inglés para la aplicación de propuestas, mediante estrategias orientadas a definir incidencias o mejoras.
