Following a brief historical survey of empirical and experimental investigations of learning and school integration difficulties during the past four decades, the author proposes another orientation for investigating this problem. Using Nuttin's concept of motivation, the significant components of students' school integration and learning are considered. In particular, it is noted that motivation is greatly affected by the student's affective-cognitive perception of himself, of his family, and of the school.
The author presents the concepts of motivation, self-concept (self-representation), and self-esteem in the perspective of contemporary work. Basing his work on Nuttin's theory of human motivation, he presents his concept of the motivational dynamic which evolves from the representation which the individual has of himself. This self-representation emerges as a function of individual and social experiences which the individual has acquired and which have served to build his self-concept, the origin of his self-esteem. According to the author, the better the self-representation with regards to an aim, the greater will be the motivation to attain this aim.
Feedback experience from incidents and its use. ABSTRACTThis working group aimed at listing and, if possible, improving feedback experience from incidents in the field of gamma radiography. The documents produced by the group may be used to enrich the content of training courses addressed to operators or health physicists from gamma radiography firms. The participants analysed different bibliographical sources where incidents/accidents were presented: the incident databases named IRID and RELIR were particularly studied. It was then identified that the existing feedback experience was not representative from the events occurring today in France. New types of incidents (no mastery of the demarked area, source stuck due to foreign bodies in the guide tube) were thus identified from which new RELIR publications were established. In parallel,
