A revelação do abuso sexual pode garantir as intervenções psicossociais e legais às vítimas, aos(as) agressores(as), e aos familiares. Este estudo objetivou caracterizar a revelação, negação e retratação do abuso sexual por meio de trinta e um prontuários de casos de abuso sexual registrados contra crianças e adolescentes atendidos em um serviço especializado na cidade de Belém-Pará. Os seguintes fatores foram explorados: idade e sexo (vítimas/agressores), relação entre as vítimas e os(as) agressores(as) (intrafamiliar/extrafamiliar), indivíduo que fez a notifi cação. Os resultados indicam a predominância de vítimas entre oito e 11 anos de idade, sexo feminino, e agressores entre 14 e 32 anos, sexo masculino. Houve maior ocorrência de abuso sexual intrafamiliar. A mãe biológica realizou as notifi cações na maioria dos casos (n=14). O abuso sexual foi revelado pelas vítimas em 87% dos casos, e a não revelação envolveu abuso intrafamiliar. A negação predominou entre os meninos e crianças de cinco a sete anos. Os dois únicos casos de retratação ocorreram na amostra de meninos. A revelação, negação e retratação devem ser utilizadas como indicadores importantes na avaliação e compreensão dos casos de abuso sexual infantil.
O estudo sobre a revelação do abuso sexual de crianças e adolescentes relaciona-se à prevenção primária/secundária, subsidiando intervenções neste tipo de violência. Este artigo objetivou caracterizar os padrões de revelação/descoberta do abuso sexual, verificando a associação com fatores individuais das vítimas e dos agressores (idade, sexo) e fatores relacionais (familiaridade entre vítimas e agressores, e receptor da revelação). Foram analisados 232 prontuários de abuso sexual, registrados em três serviços especializados, sendo um localizado no estado brasileiro do Pará (PA) e dois no estado do Rio Grande do Sul (RS). Os padrões de revelação/descoberta foram significativamente associados à idade e sexo das vítimas, e ao local da amostra. A revelação intencional foi mais frequente entre vítimas do sexo feminino (33.5%) e a detecção acidental foi mais frequente entre meninos (44.7%). Na amostra do PA, predominou a detecção acidental (46.9%), enquanto entre as vítimas do RS houve a prevalência da revelação intencional (31.1%). Discute-se a importância de questões como gênero, etapa de desenvolvimento e influência dos fatores culturais e estruturais nas políticas públicas de prevenção do abuso sexual.
ResumoO suporte materno pode funcionar como um moderador dos efeitos do abuso sexual no microssistema familiar das vítimas, maximizando as chances de ajustamento psicológico nestes contextos. Este estudo objetivou caracterizar o suporte materno de cinco mães de meninas vítimas de abuso sexual. Foram avaliadas as seguintes dimensões de suporte materno: acreditar na vítima, suporte emocional, e ação protetiva. Por meio das entrevistas, observou-se que a falta de credibilidade inicial das participantes em relação ao abuso sexual de suas fi lhas, não afetou as ações protetivas. Houve o relato de mudanças nas práticas maternas após a descoberta do abuso sexual. Discute-se a sobrecarga emocional destas cuidadoras, a manutenção do segredo acerca do abuso sexual e a importância das estratégias de intervenção familiar. Characterization of Maternal Support in the Discovery and Disclosure of Child Sexual Abuse AbstractThe maternal support can act as a moderator of the effects of sexual abuse in the family microsystem victims, maximizing the chances of psychological adjustment in these contexts. This study aimed to characterize the materna l support of fi ve mothers of sexually abused girls. The following dimensions of maternal support were considered: believe the victim, emotional support, and protective action. Through the interviews, observed that the in itial lack of credibilit y of the participants in relation to the sexual abuse of their daughters, did not affect the protective actions. There was the report of changes in maternal practices after the discovery of sexual abuse.
